Please don't consider my thoughts on the SP article to be personal against you in any way I think you have done good work in catching mistakes and so forth. But given the vandalism and drive by edits this page has seen, I insist on reliable sources for something as important as the band's genre. Incidently, it is more usual to add topics at the bottom of talk pages, that way people can view the discussions and think it is in some sort of chronological order, especially if we archive a talk page and start over.-- Wehwalt 16:16, 14 February 2007 (UTC)
Thanks for the star. I could use your help in policing the related SP articles, such as the individual band members' articles, which tend to read like fan pages. Just anything within the template at the foot of the article. Also, if you could think of a better way of phrasing the first sentence of the article, which is awkward but I can't think of a better way of doing it, I'd appreciate it.-- Wehwalt 15:47, 21 February 2007 (UTC)

Hey Ian Lee,
I have been looking for Damage Control episodes that aired on MTV forever now! Do you happen to have them on tape? I will pay you whatever you want for copies. Please reply here as I dont have any other way to contact you.
Thanks! 128.118.40.79 18:15, 14 June 2007 (UTC).

Hey, i noticed your edit on Physik's user page. I'd just like to leave a quick reminder to always keep a cool head when talking with other users. There is a whole set of templates you can use to inform a user of their violation of wikipolicy at WP:TT. Sometimes even unintentionally "harsh words" can cause more aggravation of a user creating for further problems. Again, just a quick note. Happy Editing! -- omtay 38 02:04, 12 July 2007 (UTC)
As I suggested on Talk:Prayer, POV tags are a rubbish way to start a discussion. The article is not actually very biased at all, and the placement of such a tag should be the last, not the first step in making it more balanced. I have tried to explain this to you, and I wish you would address my arguments rather than start a new argument over a tag. This case at the Arbitration Committee revolved around the placement of POV tags. They cause more trouble than they solve.

My sources are telling me November both for new shows and for release of the CD, though I think the latter is a little optimistic. I don't have any locations or definite info, though.-- Wehwalt 01:54, 7 September 2007 (UTC)
You mention that the article is "actually quite well referenced for what can be found". However, I added the tag in light of thesesections that contain little to no references:
I wasn't under the impression that it would be in violation of any conduct to add a request for additional references. I merely thought that adding the {{fact}}
tag repeatedly all over the article was unnecessary.
Feel free to reply on my talk page.

cleaning my page was for maintaining an organized/clean page... I have had this account for a while, but have only edited on and off. I wasn't aware that deleting messages intended for myself was censorship, especially considering revision histories exist. Jim 06:18, 27 September 2007 (UTC)

Also FYI, someone started an article Third Simple Plan studio CD. There was a bogus (I assume) track listing that caused consternation over at Simple Plan Online. I've deleted that. We might as well rename it with the name of the CD when it is announced. In the meantime, please monitor it with me. That editor Alexwhatever, who can't spell and doesn't know grammar, has been having at it.-- Wehwalt 12:36, 26 October 2007 (UTC)

The release of the single has sparked a ton of fannish and/or inaccurate edits on the various articles. I suspect we will need to be vigilant at least thru February.-- Wehwalt 14:01, 31 October 2007 (UTC)
I reviewed you. Sorry for the delay. Shalom ( Hello • Peace) 23:11, 27 November 2007 (UTC)
Let's give some thought about how to do this. Obviously, we'd lose a lot of material we can't source, but we could probably avoid losing the material by throwing it into the individual album articles. But there are enough RS out there we should be able to make a GA out of it. And advancing the article may be our best protection against the emoheads, especially if we can make it a FA (though I'm rather doubtful the sources are there). Having been through three FAC's, I know images are often a huge headache, at least we wouldn't have to worry about THAT. I don't expect this to be an easy process, by the way, there is a reason few bands (and generally those are older bands) make FA.-- Wehwalt ( talk) 12:22, 9 October 2008 (UTC)
