Just a note, I added the little bit of CSS you wrote to widen the search box in vector as a Gadget. Mr. Z-man 01:02, 16 May 2010 (UTC)
May I suggest for the user info scrip a change from "A user" to "A standard user" or something like that? kcylsnavS { screech} 01:27, 16 May 2010 (UTC)
Hi, just thought you might want to check out User:Tim Song/afchelper4.js. It's a handy script for AfC reviewing, and notifies the page creator as well. Cheers, — fetch · comms 20:27, 17 May 2010 (UTC)

Dear PleaseStand, you reviewed and denied this submission--would it be better if I followed up with you with my questions, or should I use live chat? (My comment/question: I did rewrite this myself, and added information from a few other sources. Was it just too close to what is on the website?) Thanks for your time. Hi PleaseStand, thanks for your feedback about this article - I could really use some help with it, the topic is still so new but its getting bigger and bigger everyday which is why I thought there should be a wiki on it so that people know what it is. I've taken all the bits about Contrast Media out - but I've left the seo copy section in, I know it overlaps but it is a fundamental part of web 2.0 copywriting and I think to understand it properly people need to make the connection. Please let me know what else I can do to make this page go live! WordsforLife ( talk) 08:20, 19 May 2010 (UTC) Wordsforlife
All the sources were from articles and websites that wiki says I can't list? That's where I'm having the trouble. Most of the stuff I got off the Michael Fortin website and off Contrast Media's website. There are also a few blogs about it, but nothing that wiki would consider 'verifiable' info. Maybe I should wait until web 2.0 copywriting get bigger? WordsforLife ( talk) 13:27, 20 May 2010 (UTC) WordsForLife
Hi again, its okay that the article was declined I'll wait until the term gets bigger - but it certainly isn't only Contrast Media's buzzword thats for sure! There are tons of writers and companies using it either as 'web 2.0 copywriting' or Copywriting 2.0. Like I said before its a new term that has yet to grow, but it will! I'll resubmit the article when it does. Thanks for all of your help:) WordsforLife ( talk) 10:48, 25 May 2010 (UTC) WordsForLife
Hi, I just tried to create an entry on Julius Chajes using the bio I had written & posted on my personal web page. You rightly noted that the text was identical to the text on my website! Must I rewrite it in order to submit it to Wikipedia? What if I delete it from my personal website before resubmitting? Thanks, Yosele11 ( talk) 15:34, 24 May 2010 (UTC)Jeffrey
Hey, I'm standing, but still have a problem anyway. :) I've got "Toggle comment highlighting" below "Special pages" in my toolbox submenu, but I cannot tab to it. When I mouse over it, it changes to underscored (it usually isn't) but the mouse cursor does not change to permit clickability. Thots? kcylsnavS{ screech harrass} 00:27, 25 May 2010 (UTC)
Maybe automatic (edit=autoconfirmed, move=sysop) status should be applied to all pages whenever server lag is higher than 300 seconds. I'm already used to it from YouTube maintenance. Any full-protected pages could remain full protected. The last two spikes that I saw anyhow were under 200. mechamind 9 0 18:02, 26 May 2010 (UTC)
Hi. I know you are an expert on coding but how are you on template coding? See National Portrait Gallery (United States). You know on ebay when you are browsing items you can hover over a picture with the mouse to zoom in? Ideally what would be useful here is when you hover over the map it produces a zoomed larger version with the pin still on it to make out street names. Is this possible? Dr. Blofeld White cat 09:00, 27 May 2010 (UTC)
LOL, yes I know about that, I have made nearly a hundred open street map locators of cities and province on here. Check out this. When you click the geo globe on German wiki now it features on the open street map at different zoomable levels. If we could import this technology this would be perfect.... On the MediaWiki-l mailing list I asked
> User:PleaseStand/highlight-comments.js is a script on Wikipedia. One has to click > a link on the page to activate it. Is there some way to make it activate on page load?
and received the reply
Replace the call to addPortletLink with HighlightCommentsJsHighlight()
The gentleman who suggested this is on the other side of the planet and won't be back till the sun comes 'round to his land again, but I'm impatient. Any idea how I might implement the suggestion? kcylsnavS{ screech harrass} 22:19, 29 May 2010 (UTC)
Hi. I've noticed this sort of thing happening on several user pages: http://tinypic.com/r/2re2iaw/6 . That example is from User:Selfworm. I think it's coming from css or js on their own pages. kcylsnavS{ screech harrass} 03:59, 30 May 2010 (UTC)

I thought I would be able to use your {{ freeze}} template to save a version of the main page(to keep track of a DYK).
I recorded one on 10 May here. As I went to add a new one today, I checked the 10 May entry, and it displays today's main page.

I did save the rewrite at User:MtRainier7/Veterans' Memorial Hall. I hope the article hits the mark this time, but if not, I'm ready to improve. And I did turn off the "Sign my . . . wikitext" option. Thank you for your help, my friend! MtRainier7 ( talk) 16:03, 4 June 2010 (UTC)
Good enough--I will change more accordingly, and will compare them side-by-side. Thank you for consulting another editor on my behalf. And I'm glad the signature worked! 66.173.73.72 ( talk) 14:40, 8 June 2010 (UTC)
I have reworked it. I think it's ready to go. Do I submit to the "auto" submission option? Do I send it to you again (I can't imagine you would want to receive it again!)? Thank you for walking me through this process. MtRainier7 ( talk) 17:58, 8 June 2010 (UTC)
I did send it to talk:MtRainier7/Veterans' Memorial Hall. If you don't mind a last pass, I would appreciate it. I did try to eliminate similar phrasing, etc. I hope it passes this time, but if not, I am persistent! Thank you. MtRainier7 ( talk) 20:43, 8 June 2010 (UTC)
