Hello, I'm
RL0919. I wanted to let you know that one or more external links you added to
Yaron Brook have been removed because they seemed to be inappropriate for an encyclopedia. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on
my talk page, or take a look at our
guidelines about links. Specifically, links to pages that exist just for selling an author's books are not appropriate.

So, you can’t link to a book page on Amazon? Pgmorales76 ( talk) 07:18, 16 August 2022 (UTC)
Thanks for the information.
So, I’m new to editing on Wikipedia, I’m new to wikitext.
Do you have any advice on the best way to go about learning how to edit on Wikipedia, learning wikitext, or something similar?
Any help would be appreciated.
P.S.- Are you a fan of Ayn Rand? Do you consider yourself to be an “Objectivist”? I consider myself to be one.
I noticed on your profile page a mention of Rand, so, I thought I’d ask. Pgmorales76 ( talk) 21:29, 16 August 2022 (UTC)
Hello, I'm
TornadoLGS. I wanted to let you know that one or more of
your recent contributions to
Yaron Brook have been undone because they appeared to be promotional.
Advertising and using Wikipedia as a "
soapbox" are against Wikipedia policy and not permitted; Wikipedia articles should be written objectively, using
independent sources, and from a
neutral perspective. Take a look at the

Please stop your
disruptive editing. If you continue to add
promotional or advertising material to Wikipedia, as you did at
Yaron Brook, you may be
blocked from editing.

Hello, Pgmorales76. We
welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things
you have written about on the page
Yaron Brook, you may have a
conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the
conflict of interest guideline and
FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:
In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.
Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. HaeB ( talk) 07:50, 27 August 2022 (UTC)
Please do not add promotional material to Wikipedia, as you did with
this edit to
Yaron Brook. While
objective prose about beliefs, organisations, people, products or services is acceptable, Wikipedia is not intended to be
a vehicle for soapboxing, advertising or promotion. Thank you.
