Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page
Peter M. Jarvis has been reverted.
Your edit
here was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove links which are discouraged per our
external links guideline from Wikipedia. The external link you added or changed is on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. I removed the following link(s):
http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=645777716 (matching the
regex rule \bfacebook\.com).
If you were trying to insert an
external link that does comply with our
policies and
guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other, constructive, changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's
external links guideline for more information, and consult my
list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see
my FAQ page. Thanks! --

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. We appreciate your contributions to the Helmut Christoferus Calabrese article, but for legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted.
You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words.
If the external website belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must include on the external site the statement "I, (name), am the author of this article, (article name), and I release its content under the terms of the GNU Free Documentation License, Version 1.2 and later, and under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribute Share-Alike."
You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question at the " Help Desk". You can also leave a message on my talk page. 152.16.59.102 ( talk) 01:46, 11 October 2009 (UTC)
Regarding this edit: I have reverted the article to remove the copyrighted material that User:Christoferus added to the article with this edit. That edit was a copy/paste of the text found at http://www.conncoll.edu/academics/web_profiles/jarvis. We cannot accept copyrighted material. It is for that reason that I removed the copyrighted text from the article, leaving the non-copyrighted text in the article. Please do not revert back to the copyrighted text. If you would like to expand the article, please do, but please write it in your own words. Thank you. 152.16.59.102 ( talk) 22:29, 11 October 2009 (UTC)
Please click on this link - User:Pageedit123/Peter Jarvis - and paste your new stuff there.
That is a user space page, not live, so you can work there as much as you like without it bothering anyone.

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Peter Jarvis, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Nonet ( check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Thank you for helping improve Wikipedia!

Hi there, I'm HasteurBot. I just wanted to let you know that Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Composers Concordance, a page you created has not been edited in at least 180 days. The Articles for Creation space is not an indefinite storage location for content that is not appropriate for articlespace. If your submission is not edited soon, it could be nominated for deletion. If you would like to attempt to save it, you will need to improve it. If the deletion has already occured, instructions on how you may be able to retrieve it are available at WP:REFUND/G13. Thank you for your attention. HasteurBot ( talk) 12:33, 5 August 2013 (UTC)
Hello Pageedit123. It has been over six months since you last edited your article submission, entitled Composers Concordance.
The page will shortly be deleted. If you plan on editing the page to address the issues raised when it was declined and resubmit it, simply {{db-afc}}
or {{db-g13}}
code. Please note, however, that Articles for Creation is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace.
If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you want to retrieve it, copy this code: {{subst:Refund/G13|Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Composers Concordance}}
, paste it in the edit box at
this link, click "Save", and an administrator will in most cases undelete the submission.
Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. HasteurBot ( talk) 14:02, 4 September 2013 (UTC)
Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current
Arbitration Committee election. The
Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia
arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose
site bans,
topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The
arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to
review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on
the voting page. For the Election committee,

The article Peter Jarvis has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
doesn't pass WP:MUSICBIO or WP:COMPOSER. Only has a few trivial mentions in reliable sources. Article is promotional and edited heavily by W:SPAs.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your
edit summary or on
the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the
proposed deletion process, but other
deletion processes exist. In particular, the
speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and
articles for deletion allows discussion to reach
consensus for deletion.
