Speedy deletion nomination of Trintech

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Trintech, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Business for more information.

If you think that the page was nominated in error, contest the nomination by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion" in the speedy deletion tag. Doing so will take you to the talk page where you can explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but do not hesitate to add information that is consistent with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. My userpage doesn't have a picture of a pet on it... Anyway, your article was deleted under the spam category. This means advertising or promotion, whether intentional or not. The wording suggested the PR Department had had a hand in it (do they talk like that at home?), but I've seen much worse. The inclusion of contact data and addresses was definitely a no-no. That's for places like AboutUs which are to enable people to contact you. We're not. We're an encyclopaedia, not a directory. Not every company (or person or hamster or religion...) gets an article. We insist on something we refer to as 'notability', and for companies it's at WP:CORP. And to prove it, you need reliable independent sources WP:RS. The company site is not independent, and many are not reliable either. (I've found 'international groups' that only appeared to exist on websites - usually rather tacky ones too, but some quite impressive until a bit of digging was done.) Look at those two links, and at WP:NPOV, which should be followed no matter what PR say. Decide if you think you can pass CORP with RS to prove it, and in a neutral point of view style. If you do, ask a regular editor or admin if your RS really are considered RS, and create the article at User:PBFerguson/DRAFT - and then ask for advice again.
