Hi OperaBalletRose, a belated but very warm welcome to WikiProject Opera! If you need any help or have any questions, don't hesitate to give me shout on my talk page. I'll be away most of August, but you can always get help and advice from other members via our project's talk page. Best, Voceditenore ( talk) 17:03, 28 July 2012 (UTC)
I noticed from a recent edit summary on The Magic Flute that you are consulting the libretto -- hooray! I've been wondering about these plot summaries for some time. They tend to be rather casually edited, and I suspect that some editors are just putting in whatever they remember seeing in a particular production or film. If you get into edit struggles with such editors, you would be justified in backing up your version by citing the libretto in a footnote. Opus33 ( talk) 17:36, 22 November 2012 (UTC)
Hi-- I just noticed that you had requested to be notified of any responses to your post several months ago at Talk:Eugene_Onegin_(opera)#Synopsis; I have responded there. (I've also addressed a few other questions on that talkpage.) Milkunderwood ( talk) 06:35, 6 February 2013 (UTC)
I'm writing to members of WikiProject Opera who have been active on the talk page over the last year. We currently have a proposal to add infoboxes about individual operas to their articles. As this would involve a fairly major change from our current practice, and lead to a potentially lengthy transition, it would be helpful to hear the views from as many project members as possible. The discussion is at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Opera#Opera infoboxes. Best, Voceditenore ( talk) 09:02, 18 March 2013 (UTC)
As discussed, I have raised the point about Composed by/Music by at what I take to be the appropriate place: Template talk:Infobox ballet. You may like to look in and add your voice to the proceedings. I have asked Andy Mabbett, an info-box guru, to look in, too. He and I don't always agree (book now for World War Three) on info-boxes, but he knows all about them, and I hope will help here. (He will be joining us on 22 June, and was the first to sign up.) Superb session today at the ROH for Wikipedians and ballet experts. Ritzily run by you and Dom and your ROH colleagues. Warmest thanks, and don't imagine that a change of job will let you off being sought as a WP contributor, so look out! Best wishes, Tim riley ( talk) 22:51, 22 June 2013 (UTC)
