                                                         Albinism

So far we have been able to understand that many of the diseases come from a problem in our DNA, and more to see that many of the cures can be found in the same path. But now to understand a disease that gets the eye of the beholder but also to other is the one that is called albinism. Now according to the National Organization for albinism and Hypopimentation, the word albinism refers to a group of inherited conditions but also is say that:”People with albinism have little or no pigment in their eyes, skin, or hair. They have inherited altered genes that do not make the usual amounts of a pigment called melanin. Now in trying to understand what inherit conditions are, well is the absence of pigment in the eyes, skin, and hair.

But as well as these diseases not only affect humans but also the animals that are in the environment were called Albino, because they suffer the same problems but unlike humans they rarely survive because of the lack the pigments that normally provide protective coloration and screen against the sun’s ultraviolet rays, and more important about protective cancer that is not easy to deal with.

An interesting fact about the Albinism was brought by the Britannica Encyclopedia were is mentions that in this disease are:”Two major types of albinism are recognized in humans: oculocutaneous albinism, which affects the skin, hair, and eyes and is subdivided into four main types (designated OCA1 through OCA4), and ocular albinism, which affects only the eyes and occurs most commonly in a form known as Nettleship-Falls syndrome (or OA1).

In the end it does not matter how the problem can be but also if the treatment can be solve and more as healthy choices give us from sunburn, always to find books with bigger letter that will help people deal with these problems and more as to understand that one person in 17,000 in the U.S.A has some type of Albinism, and the most important factor that kids that are born with this disease do not come out from parents that have it. So try to be careful and consult a physician, more because trying to make a change is what does make life be different in the end.
