Orphaned non-free media (File:Macbookproretina12.jpg)

Thanks for uploading File:Macbookproretina12.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the " my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Hazard-Bot ( talk) 04:20, 16 June 2012 (UTC) reply

Speedy deletion converted to PROD: Thinking in chess

Hello Obtund. I am just letting you know that I have converted the speedy deletion tag that you placed on Thinking in chess to a proposed deletion tag, because I do not believe CSD applies to the page in question. Thank you. PhantomSteve/ talk| contribs\ 02:00, 20 June 2012 (UTC) reply

Strange edit to TI Calculator Community

Why in the world did you make this edit to TI Calculator Community? Was it your whole intention to falsify the "proposed for deletion" message so that it would appear older? JIP | Talk 18:18, 20 June 2012 (UTC) reply

Ha...wow my error 100% I was using to format instead of twinkle, and I guess I forgot to change the time stamp. Sorry about that! Obtund Talk 18:20, 20 June 2012 (UTC) reply
OK, thanks for the explanation. It's just that the edit fooled me into thinking the message was over seven days old, and so I deleted the article, and User:BurritoBoy123 messaged me about that. I have now undeleted the article. JIP | Talk 18:27, 20 June 2012 (UTC) reply

He needs to accept the nomination. He may not want to run for RfB at this point. If he does want to run, he will accept the nomination, answer the basic questions and transclude his RfB.  Ryan  Vesey  Review me! 20:49, 20 June 2012 (UTC) reply
(ec) ::I'm sure you meant well, but there's a key step before any nomination. If you note here Wikipedia:Requests_for_adminship/Nominate#To_nominate_someone_else before you nominate someone you need to talk with them, see if they are willing to accept, and then if they do want to accept they need to make sure they're ready to add their statements, answer questions etc. If the candidate isn't ready to run, it could lead to issues with the RFB, and also could lead to an RFB where half way through the candidate says, "Wait, I don't want to run." What you need to do is talk with DGG first before you do any formal nomination.-- Cube lurker ( talk) 20:52, 20 June 2012 (UTC) reply

Brock Baker

I do have a reference source. If you go to it all the information is there. Why are you deleting my page? Please don't. Please. I joined Wikipedia so I could create articles to share with others and actually be proud of myself. All of my other pages were deleted. I did everything that was required. I explained Brock Baker's importance, not just on Youtube, and I had a citation source to authenticate my information. I know, the page is small. I was hoping that other Wikipedians would contribute and add to what I created. I am not being greedy. I want to make people happy and smart. Please don't delete the page. It was hard work copying the link into the page. Besides, watch some of Brock's videos. They're really funny. Go to Youtube and type in Brock's Dubs. Or McGoiter, his other channel. If you have anything to say, go to my talk page. You'll also notice all the speedy deletion nominations for my other pages. It makes me so sad. I guarantee that Brock Baker's videos will make you laugh. So please think before you delete this page. Heymister14 ( talk) 02:16, 27 June 2012 (UTC)heymister14 reply
