This section could be done in a wide variety of ways. This is difficult because some of their b-sides appear on a few different versions of a single, and others appear on entirely different releases. There is also the question of "What defines a b-side?" Is a live version found on a single, that originally can be found as a studio version on an album, to be considered a b-side? Is a b-side just anything not found on an album? What if it is featured on some versions of an album? I started this list because i didn't like the current version with the "a-sides" but after finishing this version, I almost feel that is necessary. I do feel, however, that b-sides should come before a-sides. Fezmar9 ( talk) 00:05, 22 April 2008 (UTC)

So The Used's Maybe Memories went platinum in the US, but an actual studio album did not? Are compilation or live albums treated differently than studio albums? I know that for a studio album in the US to receive a platinum award it must sell 1,000,000 copies, and is significantly lower for EPs (I forget the exact number). Does that follow through with compilation albums and live albums also? Or did Maybe Memories truly sell a million copies before The Used or In Love and Death? Also, Berth was only released a few months before Lies and did not have any charting songs, and yet it reached gold status before Lies. Ever since the whole edit war over the discography started and I thought the platinum award was just vandalism I have been trying to research it, but can't find anything.
