Eleanor Burbidge

A while ago, you deleted Eleanor Burbidge. She is a notable scientist, but the article may not have made this clear. Could you please restore the article so that I can add that she is a Fellow of the Royal Society? Thank you. -- Eastmain ( talk) 19:43, 21 July 2008 (UTC) reply

Feel free to create an article on her. Or perhaps this should be a redirect to Margaret Burbidge if that is the person you are referring to. The article I deleted in 2007 was not about the scientist, but was a vanity bio of a modern day teenager and thus has no content of any value to a potential new article worth undeleting. Cheers, NoSeptember 04:01, 22 July 2008 (UTC)

Crat stats

Pls add me to your crat stats table. Thanks. RlevseTalk 12:06, 29 July 2008 (UTC) reply

OK, I added you, and to User:NoSeptember/Functionaries as well. Cheers, NoSeptember 21:42, 29 July 2008 (UTC)

Note to self

When promoted, I raised the number of admins to 795. The current number of admins is 859. When this number reaches 1,590, I will move from the junior half of all admins to the senior half of admins. Make a note of what date this happens on. Also, come up with a plausible reason why this bit of trivia matters ;-). Thanks, NoSeptember 16:15, 3 August 2008 (UTC)

I'm surprised the current number is still only 1,589.... almost there. NoSeptember 17:01, 15 September 2008 (UTC)

Thanks!

Thanks, NoSeptember, for your kind words on the articles I've been creating. I'm glad someone's appreciating them. Thanks again! Onward, User:Jarvishunt ( User talk:Jarvishunt) 10 November 2008 (UTC)

List of Failed RfA's Chronological

Hey NoSeptember, A discussion was brought up about your list of failed RfA's Chronological and wether or not it should be moved to the WIKISPACE. As I believe it has grown to the point that it is part of the community, I agreed that it should and moved it. I hope you don't mind... of course, if you do, you can always move it back. But I think it has evolved to the point where it is no longer an individual endeavor, but the communities.--- Balloonman PoppaBalloon 18:19, 10 December 2008 (UTC) reply

What about the rest of the project?  Frank  |   talk  18:39, 10 December 2008 (UTC) reply
There is actually a question as to whether or not that should be moved as well... I haven't looked at it too closely, but from what I saw, I think it too could be moved, but that isn't my choice to make. To me, the user space is for projects/essays/ideas that individuals are working on. Once they have grown beyond an individual and become part of the community, then they need to be moved to the wikispace. The list of failed RfA candidates clearly (IMHO) needed to be part of wikispace. The question (to me) is, how much control does NoSeptember want on it... I get the sense from his talk page that he's open to others editing his work, thus wikispace would be acceptable. If he wants to have any sense of ownership, then his user space is more appropriate.
Like I moved my essays, Wikipedia:How to pass an RfA and Wikipedia:How to nominate somebody for RfA to the Wikispace because they have reached the point where people refer to them elsewhere, and they are no longer just mine. I'm also open to others interjecting their ideas to them. User:Balloonman/Why I hate Speedy Deleters is still in my user space because it hasn't reached that level yet... either in community acceptance or in my willingness to let others edit it.--- Balloonman PoppaBalloon 19:03, 10 December 2008 (UTC) reply

I have discussed this issue on one of my admin project pages months ago: About the NoSeptember Admin Project. Any or all of it can be moved as the community decides. There are pages that are maintained (I keep up a few (look at my contributions for details) and others maintain other pages). In general I have been somewhat inactive this year and so many pages have been going out of date. But since one of my goals was to recreate the early history of the project in relation to adminship, not keeping the current year up to date is not that big a deal to me, until I or someone else get the time to work on it. Cheers, NoSeptember 21:39, 13 December 2008 (UTC)

Redlinks

User:NoSeptember/The_NoSeptember_Admin_Project A whole bunch of the stuff linked to is not there. I guess many of the pages were deleted. Especially of note are the links to admin stats. Enigma msg 02:54, 19 March 2009 (UTC) reply

The original purpose of the project was to keep track of the many pages other editors have created on the topic of admins. I've been somewhat inactive over the past few years and therefore I have not had a chance to add most of the newer pages created during that time, including your User:Enigmaman/SNOW page :-) . Editors leave wikipedia and often delete their stuff when they do, so no surprise lots of redlinks develop. Durin, for example, had a lot of cool charts on adminship which have mostly been deleted now. If I ever get the chance I will add new stuff, to help keep the project useful.
