Hey Nichalp, I've deleted the themes category and I explained my reasons on the FAC page. UberCryxic 00:56, 24 March 2006 (UTC)
Hello Sir I'm nominating this page for deletion because it is written with a point of view , excessive use of unreliable sources.and the title "Khalistan" is wrong for the topic because "Khalistan" does not exist, lack of support from resident Punjabi's and Sikhs in India, but there was a "Movement for Khalistan" and that is the right title for the topic, and i think this whole article "a new name" should be rewritten with the help of people from sikh community "in" India and other Indians, because this topic is related to politics/people of India. We all should understand Khalistan is not a political entity and having a article is not justified, Microsoft Encarta and Britannic encyclopedia don't have an article known as "Khalistan" but they do have articles on the movement that took place decades back, and i think there are also copyright issues involved with this article because big parts of this article are written on other peoples research. Many reliable sources are used to show "one side" of their view on the topic, there are also indications that organisations banned by US and EU are involved in providing their research on the movement.I am a strong supporter to have a stub on this topic , but im afraid that such articles on wikipedia have become mouthpieces for organisation which are known for disrupting peace (assassination of one of india's prime minister, twin bomb blast in New Delhi on the eve of Diwali) in Indian sub continent. This article requires your attention , please help. Anmol.2k4 18:29, 24 March 2006 (UTC)

Hi Nichalp, I've noticed that my recent edits to foreign relations on the India page were reverted because of understandable reasons. Here's the version of the page With my edits. It just happens that I've done a little bit of research on India's foreign relations recently so may be able to contribute to any section on foreign relations included in the India page. So it would be good if we were clear on what needs to be done so I can start editing. Thanks. Nobleeagle (Talk) 08:19, 25 March 2006 (UTC)

Hi, I'm initiating a campaign in Bangladesh (news media and otherwise) to attract more editors from there. I also am working on the Bangla wikipedia ( http://bn.wikipedia.org ). Right now, there are very few editors there, and only 1 admin. I would like to get admin status there, because within a week, a lot of new editors are going to flock there (when the news articles and media discussions get underway next week). Where/who do I request to get admin status in Bangla wikipedia? Thanks. -- Ragib 07:59, 26 March 2006 (UTC)
Thanks a lot for your subjective objective and extremely specific review of
Kolkata. We shall try to mend the defects you have pointed out. However, I have 2 points to ask:
(1) Why do you always make it sure that "Tourism" is not included? (I have seen you reccomending this before). Is it a Wikipedia rule?
(2) I disagree with you that section "Culture" should not have subsections. There are so many city articles with subsections in "Culture".For example, Canberra ( which is an FA). You will perhaps cite the Indian city format. But in any case, that is not a hard and fast rule! PLease comment and help improve the article. Thanks a lot.
Hi! "Tourism" and the subsections of Culture have been removed. Also have expanded on cuisine, clothing etc. in culture. However, I had to cross the limit of 5 paragraphs for culture. We shall have to condense the "culture". Need your help in a specific matter. Its difficult for me to re-write the "History", as I'm not well-conversed in this aspect of Kolkata. Can you name any user who can be of help? Thanks.-- Dwaipayanc 18:35, 27 March 2006 (UTC)

Hi! We have tried to follow your recommendations of the first review. Everything you recommended was worked upon - except the lead, as I found it difficult to modify appropriately. The history has been somewhat improved, but not definitely upto the mark.
The civic administration looks better now. Culture has been improved. Other recommendations have been followed. Still, I feel major works have to be done, especially in "History" and "Culture". The size is 42 kb, which is large. I have plans to cut down "culture".
Also there are some repetition dispersed in the article, which can be removed on strict scrutiny. Could you please give it a second look and give some directions to work on? Thank you.-- Dwaipayanc 20:08, 29 March 2006 (UTC)
