Information icon Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia. Wikipedia is not a collection of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include, but are not limited to, links to personal websites, links to websites with which you are affiliated (whether as a link in article text, or a citation in an article), and links that attract visitors to a website or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam guideline for further explanations. Because Wikipedia uses the nofollow attribute value, its external links are disregarded by most search engines. If you feel the link should be added to the page, please discuss it on the associated talk page rather than re-adding it. [1] MrOllie ( talk) 15:37, 15 November 2022 (UTC) reply

Warning icon Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, you may be blocked from editing. It is considered spamming and Wikipedia is not a vehicle for advertising or promotion. Because Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, additions of links to Wikipedia will not alter search engine rankings. Stop icon You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you insert a spam link. Persistent spammers may have their websites blacklisted, preventing anyone from linking to them from all Wikimedia sites as well as potentially being penalized by search engines. Request reason:

Hi, Wikipedia Team, I really feel embarrassed. I have been associated with Wikipedia for a long time, and I am doing my job honestly. I have also contributed significantly to some of the Wikipedia pages. But my account has been blocked due to some external links. I was creating an external link to Wikipedia on someone else's website. So because of me someone's website was blocked by Wikipedia. I am very sorry for my mistake. So I humbly request you to activate my account and whitelist the website sellbuyus.com. It will be so kind of you. I assure Wikipedia in future that this type of mistake will not happen again. Decline reason:

Doing your job? What, exactly, is your job? What, exactly, is your relationship with that website? What do you now understand about WP:COI and WP:SPAM that you didn't understand before? Yamla ( talk) 18:34, 4 December 2022 (UTC) reply

I write short articles for news websites. I was not well aware of Wikipedia's external links policies. I didn't even pay attention to Wikipedia's notifications and mails. So I am sorry for my mistake. So I humbly request you to activate my account and whitelist that website.

Decline reason:

You very much don't get to put links to your own website on to Wikipedia. --jpgordon 𝄢𝄆𝄐𝄇 19:47, 4 December 2022 (UTC) reply
