Hi,
I hope all is well.
My name is Rashed Al Harmoodi and I'm the media relations manager at Mubadala. I have noticed that you recently edited the Mubadala page, and I wanted to bring to your attention a note I have posted on the Mubadala discussion page. I'd greatly appreciate any feedback you may have on some of the corrections to the Mubadala page that I've suggested.

Greetings from the
Guild of Copy Editors
July 2010 Backlog Elimination Drive. Thanks to all who participated in the drive! Over 100 editors—including
Jimbo Wales—signed up this time (nearly triple the participants of the May drive). This benefited the Guild as well as the articles in need of copy editing. You can see from the comparison graphs that we increased the number of completed copyedits substantially. Unfortunately, we were not able to meet our goal of completely wiping out 2008 from the queue. We also were not able to reduce the backlog to less than 6,000 articles. We suspect people were busy with real life summertime things, at least in the northern hemisphere! We were able to remove the months of January, February, March, April, and May from the backlog, and we almost wiped out the month of June. We reduced the backlog by 1,289 articles (17%), so all in all it was a very successful drive, and we will be holding another event soon. We'll come up with some new ideas to try to keep things fresh and interesting. Keep up the good work, everybody!

Hi. Decided not to badger you at the RfA page - hope you're OK with me posting here. Your neutral !vote intrigues me. Let's start with a classic strawman argument (I know, I know): If he had 1,000,000 edits, 900,000 of which were automated, would you oppose? That's a hefty 90%. Of course, that'd mean 100,000 manual edits. What I'm trying to get at is this. The candidate seems to have made several thousands of manual edits across the two usernames. Are you unable to gauge whether you trust them to follow policy properly from the (more recent) manual edits they have made? Hope you don't mind me asking. -- Dweller ( talk) 20:18, 10 August 2010 (UTC)

Hi NerdyScienceDude. Thank you for your work on patrolling pages and tagging for speedy deletion. 2010 Food City 500, a recent good article
The 2010 Food City 500 at Bristol Motor Speedway in Bristol, Tennessee was the fifth race of the 2010 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series season. The race began at 1 p.m. EDT on March 21, 2010. The 2010 Food City 500 was televised on Fox and broadcast on PRN radio. This race marked the last appearance of the rear wing on the Car of Tomorrow, with the spoiler returning the following race. This race also was the first of three in Carl Edwards' probation following his altercation with Brad Keselowski at the previous race at Atlanta Motor Speedway; Keselowski was sent airborne, subsequently crashing on his side door. The race had 13 different leaders, 39 lead changes and 10 cautions. The race attendance of 138,000 marked the end of a long streak of sellout seats at the track, which has a capacity of 158,000. The race had been a sellout since 1982. ( More...) | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
