Thanks for your edit. I was suffering from malaria when I wrote it and have little recollection of the event. It looks like I lifted it from another page, possibly "Basankusu" which I wrote about 15 years ago, (although not about Mpox). Incidentally, the Basankusu region has a fair amount of Mpox currently.
