What is the process for addressing the issue that my edit keeps getting deleted? It is a factual edit backed up by multiple references. Also I am an expert in the field, a professor at a university medical school in the U.S. I doubt the person deleting it has any knowledge of the science involved. - I think the first step is to realize it's not censorship, it's an editing dispute. Different people with reasonable views can easily come to different conclusions about something. Wikipedia has a pretty simple editing process that helps prevent disputes from getting unpleasant, it's called WP:BRD. You Boldly make a change and it gets Reverted, so you start a Discussion on the article talk page. Sounds simple, but that D part, discussion, is the big thing. Along with that, remember to focus on the edits, NEVER on the editor. Personalizing disputes does not work, it just causes people to dig in harder and harder. On the specific edit, one of the concerns raised in the reverts (that I agree with) is the over-generalization in your edit. Go with specifically what the sources say. The page on dispute resolution gives some good thoughts on handling editing disputes. Remember, try to assume the other person also has a reasonable view that just happens to differ from yours.
