Your draft article, Draft:Scott Spark

Hello Mrbenjaminlaw. It has been over six months since you last edited your WP:AFC draft article submission, entitled " Scott Spark".

The page will shortly be deleted. If you plan on editing the page to address the issues raised when it was declined and resubmit it, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}} or {{db-g13}} code. Please note that Articles for Creation is not for indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you want to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by one of two methods (don't do both): 1) follow the instructions at WP:REFUND/G13, or 2) copy this code: {{subst:Refund/G13|Draft:Scott Spark}}, paste it in the edit box at this link, and click "Save page". An administrator will in most cases undelete the submission.

Managing a conflict of interest

Information icon Hello, Mrbenjaminlaw. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places, or things you have written about in the article Benjamin Law (writer), you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a COI may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic, and it is important when editing Wikipedia articles that such connections be completely transparent. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. In particular, we ask that you please:

  • avoid editing or creating articles related to you and your family, friends, school, company, club, or organization, as well as any competing companies' projects or products;
  • instead, you are encouraged to propose changes on the Talk pages of affected article(s) (see the {{ request edit}} template);
  • when discussing affected articles, disclose your COI (see WP:DISCLOSE);
  • avoid linking to the Wikipedia article or to the website of your organization in other articles (see WP:SPAM);
  • exercise great caution so that you do not violate Wikipedia's content policies.

In addition, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation (see WP:PAID).

Please take a few moments to read and review Wikipedia's policies regarding conflicts of interest, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, sourcing and autobiographies.

Also please note that editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. Dairy{ talk} 01:37, 3 October 2017 (UTC) reply

More specifically, editing an article about yourself ( Benjamin Law (writer)) other than to remove blatant vandalism or correct minor typos is strongly discouraged (see the guideline WP:Autobiography). It is recommended to suggest changes on the talk page, and use the template {{ request edit}}. If you are not Benjamin Law, then your username is a violation of the username policy, and should ideally be changed using the process documented at WP:RENAME. If you have any questions, feel free to ask them to me, or at the Teahouse question forum. Regards, Dairy{ talk} 05:14, 4 October 2017 (UTC) reply
