I've added the "{{ prod}}" template to the article Barber hop, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but I don't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and I've explained why in the deletion notice (see also " What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). Please either work to improve the article if the topic is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia, or, if you disagree with the notice, discuss the issues at Talk:Barber hop. Removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, but the article may still be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached, or if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria. Hi, while I certainly agree that McGuire's style lends itself to a great deal of criticism, Wikipedia has very strict rules regarding biographies of living persons, specifically that unsourced or poorly sourced commentary that is likely to be controversial should be removed. That is not to say that we want to hide such details, only that they have to be strongly sourced. Given that the link you provided is to a blog, it does not meet our reliable source standards, thus I was compelled to remove it. This certainly is not a criticism of your contribution, only that the section needs to be sourced to something more reliable. If you can find, for example, a newspaper or magazine article discussing controversies surrounding McGuire, please feel free to use that to rebuild such a section. Thanks, Reso lute 16:00, 4 March 2009 (UTC)

Hello, I'd like to inform you that the repeated insertion of material in the Pierre McGuire article that has been determined to be in violation of the BLP policy is sufficient grounds for this account to be blocked. See Wikipedia:Blocking policy.
If, however, you find better sources to cite that explicitly back up your claims, and it is written in a neutral point of view, then you may restore the gist of your edits.
