Welcome!
Hello, Mindtaps, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, one or more of the pages you created, such as Brand Cycle Development (BCD), may not conform to some of Wikipedia's guidelines, and may soon be deleted.
There's a page about creating articles you may want to read called Your first article. If you are stuck, and looking for help, please come to the New contributors' help page, where experienced Wikipedians can answer any queries you have! Or, you can just type {{ helpme}} on this page, and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Here are a few other good links for newcomers:
I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you have any questions, check out Wikipedia:Questions or ask me on my talk page. Again, welcome! Borkificator ( talk) 09:52, 27 January 2011 (UTC)
If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Brand Cycle Development (BCD) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is an article with no content whatsoever, or whose contents consist only of external links, a "See also" section, book references, category tags, template tags, interwiki links, a rephrasing of the title, or an attempt to contact the subject of the article. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hang on}}
to the top of
the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion, or "db", tag; if no such tag exists, then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hang-on tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on
the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact
one of these administrators to request that the administrator
userfy the page or email a copy to you.

Thank you for your recent contributions. Getting started creating new articles on Wikipedia can be tricky, and you might like to try creating a draft version first, which you can then ask for feedback on if necessary, without the risk of speedy deletion. Do make sure you also read help available to you, including Your First Article and the Tutorial. You might also like to try the Article Wizard, which has an option to create a draft version. Thank you. Fæ ( talk) 10:07, 27 January 2011 (UTC)
The article Brand Cycle Development (BCD) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your
edit summary or on
the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the
proposed deletion process, but other
deletion processes exist. The
speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and
articles for deletion allows discussion to reach
consensus for deletion.

Welcome to Wikipedia. If you are affiliated with some of the people, places or things
you have written about in the article
Brand Cycle Development (BCD), you may have a
conflict of interest. In keeping with Wikipedia's
neutral point of view policy, edits where there is a conflict of interest, or where such a conflict might reasonably be inferred, are strongly discouraged. If you have a conflict of interest, you should avoid or exercise great caution when:
Please familiarize yourself with relevant policies and guidelines, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, verifiability of information, and autobiographies.
For information on how to contribute to Wikipedia when you have a conflict of interest, please see our frequently asked questions for organizations. Thank you. Using Wikipedia for promotion is easily spotted, the key disadvantage you will have in attempting to create an article to promote http://www.blendedeye.com is that the website is likely to get blacklisted making it difficult for anyone else to reference the site in any other articles in the future. I suggest you raise a request at WP:COIN if you would like some independent advice on editing Wikipedia when you have a conflict of interest. Fæ ( talk) 11:00, 27 January 2011 (UTC)

A tag has been placed on Brand Cycle Development (BCD), requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Business for more information.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hang on}}

Hi Mindtaps,
Wikipedia has its own guidance for notability that may not be the same as your intuitive sense of what is notable. Wikipedia is an encyclopaedia of general knowledge rather than an index of profiles of companies and people. Each article needs several independent reliable sources to show significant impact on the historical record. The guidance for organizations is given at WP:ORG and for biographies WP:BIO applies.
If the articles you are creating have reliable sources to support the criteria defined in that guidance then you may have a reason to keep the articles from being deleted which you are welcome to raise on the article talk page or on any linked deletion discussion. If you are associated with the organization, person or product the article is about then you must follow the conflict of interest guidelines and avoid editing the article yourself but you are free to suggest and discuss changes.
Rather than starting "live" articles, you can create a draft first which allows you to get your article properly sourced before risking speedy deletion - see Userspace draft and Userfication.
If you would like some independent help you can ask one of the noticeboards at WP:Requests or try chatting with other Wikipedians on #wikipedia-en-help connect.
Thanks, Fæ ( talk) 11:10, 27 January 2011 (UTC)
Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but you removed a
speedy deletion tag from
Brand Cycle Development (BCD), a page you have created yourself. If you do not believe the page should be deleted, you can place a {{
hangon}} tag on the page, under the existing speedy deletion tag (please do not remove the speedy deletion tag), and make your case on the page's
talk page. Administrators will look at your reasoning before deciding what to do with the page. Thank you.

It may help to explicitly check the sources against reliable source guidelines:
My conclusion is that the article is virtually unsourced with only tangential references found. It seems highly unlikely that quality relevant sources will be added in the near future. Fæ ( talk) 13:59, 27 January 2011 (UTC)
So i take it you wont be the one deciding if the page stays. These sources are quality enough, I don't think insulting Ogilvy or Harvard will help you either... Perhaps no sources need to be added, It's already ranked 2nd on google, not to mention how perfectly written it is. Are you a Phd? Do you have a masters? What is your college major? I mean you threw BRAND MANAGEMENT on Wikipedia at me and you say I'm sounding unsourced? They virtually ONLY have E-Branding of business as their content Body, c'mon please... I have deleted the article at Brand Cycle Development (BCD). As indicated, it did not meet our criteria for inclusion. I have also copied your last post to the article's talk page, and the response from User:Fæ, above - if you wish to continue to edit this encyclopedia, that information may be relevant. Remember, also, that editors are here to improve the project, and are enforcing long-standing community norms and policies. They have no personal issue with you, or with the subject. If you require assistance, you can post {{ helpme}} on this page with a request and an editor will come by to assist. Best, UltraExactZZ Said ~ Did 14:35, 27 January 2011 (UTC)
