With respect to Lonsdale_College, you shouldn't edit things that are about you according to policy. ZoFreX 17:03, 8 March 2006 (UTC)
Again, you've edited a part of an article that is about you, and I would challenge whether you are allowed to upload a picture of yourself. J-Deeks 10:55, 12 April 2006 (UTC)
Fair do's with regards to the said policy. Although, I don't think in this instance it really is such a big deal, and infact when the elections come up in December, whoever is duly elected to the position then should (with their permision) have their picture(s) featured in replacement. I agree Wikipedia policy is good, for a good reason and should be kept, but there is also a need for common sense. What difference would it make if I gave that picture (because I wouldnt want a pic of me up there without my having a say over what pic) to someone to upload, and me just uploading it myself? I'm going to update the logo with the latest version (includes college name). Thanks for the feedback; more invited and welcomed. ML

- I'm not a big fan of my own face - so it's definately not in vanity! Any big company on WP might have its CEO(s) portrait on so why not this college. Although to be honest, I can't wait for the end of the year to take it off! but not before. ta. -- Michaelliffen 15:10, 4 August 2006
- For graphics, such as logos, the use of PNG format is preferred (in fact, apparently we are supposed to use a format called SVG). And providing a transparent background makes use of the image more flexible. --

claim of fair use. However, it is currently
orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed.
You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see
our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the " my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box.
