I removed some text from Ancient Egyptian race controversy that wasn't backed up by the source, which says "who complained, among other things" - nothing about disagreeing with many of Hawass's statements. We need to stick close to our sources. Thanks. Dougweller ( talk) 16:03, 9 March 2010 (UTC)
There seems to be pre-existing consensus that Diop is "Afrocentric", I apologize for accidentally using "Vandalism rollback", which was mistaken. You should make your case on the talk page and stop edit warring over the issue. --

You need to read WP:AGF and WP:CIVIL -- calling my one edit edit warring is a personal attack, not a good idea. Please also read WP:3RR You don't take articles to WP:AN3 and you shouldn't threaten me with it as I've only edited the article once - as you are the only editor who has hit 3RR, I should point out that if you'd brought anyone else to the board you'd be taking a chance of being blocked. And for your own sake, I'll give you a formal 3RR warning when I finish this, please do not do any more reverting. Dougweller ( talk) 13:30, 9 June 2010 (UTC)
You currently appear to be engaged in an
edit war according to the reverts you have made on
Cheikh Anta Diop. Note that the
three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions on a single page within a 24-hour period. Additionally, users who perform several reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring even if they do not technically violate the
three-revert rule. When in dispute with another editor you should first try to
discuss controversial changes to work towards wording and content that gains a
consensus among editors. Should that prove unsuccessful, you are encouraged to seek
dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request
page protection. If the edit warring continues, you may be
blocked from editing without further notice. I don't think you understand 3RR, I hope you will read the links and not get blocked or take anyone else to AN3 unless they have hit 3RR and been warned.

Please do not add or change content without citing
verifiable and
reliable sources, as you did to
Cheikh Anta Diop. Before making any potentially controversial
edits, it is recommended that you discuss them first on the article's talk page. Please review the guidelines at
Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. You again changed cited text from sub-Saharan "negroid" types.to sub-Saharan Africans. despite my noting that you'd done this on the talk page. Unless you can show that the source doesn't say Negroid, you should not do this.
