First I ask you how many other singing pirates in television commercials have had such a rush of people attempting to write about him? I say Eric Violette is on par with the likes of "The Burger King" in his notability within the television realm. Hi there. Thanks for stopping by Automotive lighting to fix such spelling errors as "whereever" and "alligning". Your edit also changed every instance of "signalling" to "signaling". Neither is incorrect, but the double-L variant is generally preferred in international English while the single-L is oftener found in American English; because this article is written in international English, not only does WP:ENGVAR prefer that we leave the double-L, but an important reference (Regulation 48; scroll down to find it so you needn't yank down the whole PDF) uses the double-L spelling. I've changed "signaling" back to "signalling", but I wanted to let you know I do appreciate your efforts to clean up the genuine errors in the article. — Scheinwerfermann ( talk) 20:04, 13 July 2008 (UTC)

-- mboverload @ 06:02, 4 August 2008 (UTC)The debate weighed overwhelmingly toward closing the organization, with many current and former members and leaders endorsing its end; however, much of the debate was about how the closure should take place. While some favored outright deletion of all Esperanza pages, others felt that simply marking the organization as inactive was enough. A compromise that gained steam was the "Messedrocker solution" (named after its creator, Messedrocker), to redirect the subpages to the main page, but keep the pages for their edit history. The discussion was closed on Monday, January 1, by Mailer Diablo. The decision was made to close the organization, and replace the organization's main page with an explanation of the organization's history and demise, while retaining most of its pages per the Messedrocker solution. That's a great question that you asked about when to use which word. Basically, Argentine is the standard and most common
demonym (also called denizen label) and adjective in the
English language for someone/something from
Argentina. Argentine is about 7 times more common than Argentinian and about 9 times more common than Argentinean. The grammar, usage, and style guide
Garner's Modern American Usage (by
Bryan A. Garner) gives Argentine as the standard and Argentinian as the variant, but it doesn't list Argentinean at all. This would indicate that it's deemed as the least desirable of the different forms.
Both the Random House and American Heritage dictionaries list Argentine as the main entry and Argentinean as the variant form but not Argentinian (Argentinian is also marked as an incorrect spelling on Microsoft Word). Basically, this means that it's safe to use Argentine in all instances:
Argentine tango,
Argentine American,
Argentine Antarctica, Argentine people, etc. Using Argentinian or Argentinean isn't absolutely wrong because some people do use them not knowing what the standard is, but when I've had time, I've been trying to make it consistent throughout Wikpedia to use the standard and most common form. Hope that made sense.
On a side note, have you seen the movie
Buenos Aires 100 Kilómetros yet? I have a bunch of movies from
Spain, but none from Argentina.

In his closure,
Hi, and thanks for saying hello. Welcome back. Nothing much has changed in three two years, same old stuff goes round and round. Date auto formatting has gone out of fashion. Good to see you. Oh, I stole the code for your talk page archive template, thanks for that too! --

What the heck happened to youour talk page? -- CupPup ( talk) 06:31, 6 August 2008 (UTC)
Did you do that so you can have a shorter talk page? -- CupPup ( talk) 06:41, 6 August 2008 (UTC)
Yeah, I saw that, thank you. It could be very confusing if someone think that he/she can use code, but in reality licenses are incompatible. TestPilot talk to me! 12:47, 6 August 2008 (UTC)
Hi and, first of all, thanks for your time. :) The IP's been a nuisance for months and has managed to cause a semi-protection. I could certainly use your help as I'm starting to lose it with this guy, though I'm unsure how you intend to divert him? He knew earlier that his "edits" will be immediately removed, but wasn't exactly discouraged. He may go away for a few days and come back to insult people and disrupt again. Oh, and don't think you can "sway" him with actual arguments and Wikipedia policy, I tried that, all it did was cost me nerves :( -- DIREKTOR ( TALK) 01:42, 9 August 2008 (UTC)

Don't you think then the 2008 Republican National Convention protest activity should be deleted to then? -- B64 ( talk) 22:26, 10 August 2008 (UTC)
Hi, just so you're aware, CSD G4 should be used only when the article in question was previously deleted via AFD. If it was previously speedy deleted, just use the CSD tag you would have used if you had never seen the article before. Cheers! J.delanoy gabs adds 23:32, 10 August 2008 (UTC)
Wow, that Tarira guy so led us to it ;) I love it when this happens. Wasn't 'prod' enough, though? Stijndon ( talk) 00:00, 11 August 2008 (UTC)
As J.delanoy has already warned you above, please stop using page has already been deleted as a deletion reason. CSD G4 only applies to recreation of material which is substantially identical to material deleted via the AFD process. – iride scent 00:40, 11 August 2008 (UTC)
Hello Mboverload. Why did you put {{ original research}} on Max Planck Institute for Foreign and International Social Law? It is a part of the Max Planck Society. Do you know the significance of research institutes affiliated with the Max Planck Society? Please check facts. You can check references. Regards, Masterpiece2000 ( talk) 05:07, 11 August 2008 (UTC)

I noticed that you're changing instances of "an historic" to "a historic". I haven't looked at the specific instances that you're changing, but this seems to be regional spelling/usage (analogous to British/American spellings) -- see [2]. I'm not fussed either way, but as with all things on Wikipedia, you can be sure that there will be someone who will be. Just thought I'd let you know. -- Flyguy649 talk 06:27, 11 August 2008 (UTC)
Hi, I've noticed you're (correctly) making changes such as sq km to km2. However, I have also noticed that you're using the unicode character for the 2. Please can you use the and tags instead as per WP:UNITS, this makes it easier to read on the screen. Thanks -- JD554 ( talk) 08:48, 11 August 2008 (UTC)
Hi, mboverload. A user's come and asked me about this edit. I'm a little perplexed. Why did you make that edit? You seemed to be in the middle of an AWB run at the time. I'm particularly concerned that it could have been a compromised password. — Werdna • talk 13:54, 11 August 2008 (UTC)
Hey mboverload, just a quick thanks for catching a couple of my brain-cramped typos. I swear I proofed the articles more than once and just blew right past them. I are a good spelurr, jest gits bleaery-eyed at times. lol. Thanks again. R anderson1966 ( talk) 19:15, 11 August 2008 (UTC)

On Aug 11, you reversed a deletion on MP Michael Ignatieff page.
Because of that, I am sure you will be interested in both the technical and philosophical end of the discussion now taking place in the discussion page for MP Rick Dykstra.

With an election coming up (See http://www.theglobeandmail.com/servlet/story/RTGAM.20080807.welections07/BNStory/National/home ) a linking device like this may save a lot of work for the people (like CJCurrie) who are on the watch for vandalism.
Please join the discussion. Thanks.

Hi, I was just in the process of creating the stub when you tagged it with several problems. They should be fixed shortly, but if you could check it in an hour or so, please re-apply any tags that you think still will help, and point out on the talk page what needs immediate attention. Thanks, T L Miles ( talk) 03:23, 13 August 2008 (UTC)

I made a page for "Stan Burdman," a famous radio dj, political commentator, comedian, and video game reviewer. It took me a while to research and remember all the stuff Stan Burdman did, make external links to Stan's work, and then the page got deleted the second it went up. Almost like automatically. I don't understand, Stan Burdman is a fairly famous public figure and I would appreciate the page be brought back from the dead please. Braddj1977 ( talk) 08:26, 13 August 2008 (UTC)

Sorry to stalk you, but I noticed that you are self-reverting a bunch of changes. You might be happy to know that "a historic" is preferable according to the standard rules for English as laid down by that biblical text, Fowler's Modern English Usage. siℓℓy rabbit ( talk) 13:02, 13 August 2008 (UTC)
