This is a list of countries which haven't recorded any official nor unofficial freezing air temperatures. Nevertheless, some of them, in some parts of their whole territories, where there are no weather stations, have got a chance to have recorded freezing temperature (0C celsius-32F Fahrenheit) at least once in modern times (1850-today) and during colder climatic periods or eras (little ace age, ice age) respectively. The below percentages are estimated and they represent the chances of these countries of having recorded below 0C temperatures during the current climatic era and during previous climatic eras (ice ages). These calculations have been made from climatic studies of the coldest areas of each country and the studies of the estimated climates of those areas during the ice age (their average temperatures, yearly lowest temperatures and extreme lowest temperatures)

A spectacular and unmatched snowstorm swept the country in February 1881 with snow recorded above 2200m, including in the city of Quetzaltenango, after which has only witnessed few flakes in February 1956.Snow was also said to have fallen in Quetzaltenango in 1816.
Minimum snowline varies from 1700m in the south-east to 3500m to the northwest. In July 2010 a thin layer of snow stuck onto the Sarrarenda Hill (above the town of Camiri) at just 1400m asl, virtually the lowest elevation where snow has ever stuck in Bolivia. An amazing snowstorm in August 1557 swept the Andine region, Potosi recorded 11 days of ininterrpted snow with an accumulation near 2 meters. It's said La Paz also was under a deep quantity of snow.
