Hi Matthew,
I see you declined the bio I wrote for Mike Murphy. The reason I wanted to add a bio for Mike Murphy is that he is listed in a Wikipedia article with no other info about him: /info/en/?search=One_for_All_Tour.
Please read the above Wikipedia article about the Bee Gee's One for all Tour and then you might think the bio is a good idea. I hope so. I added the wikipedia article as a reference, I rather that the One for all article would refer you to the bio on Mike Murphy, maybe you can fix that, if you agree to allow it.

Would you please take a look at the Draft:The Toy Soldiers (film) page that you declined a couple of weeks ago. I believe I have fixed the notability issue with sources like the LA Times and New York Times among others. Also, I am no longer using IMDB as a source. The draft has been re-submitted. I would also like to add pictures to enhance the page, if it is approved.
Thank you very much for all your time!

Hi Matthew --
I will endeavor to get additional sources, but Discogs and AllMusic are both considered to be valid sources for credits, are they not? Also, there is a Wikipedia article regarding one of the many tracks this guy is credited with writing & producing, as referenced in the piece " Can't Stop Me" by Afrojack & Shermanology. I'm a bit new to editing these articles, so any guidance as to what you think constitutes a valid reference would be helpful. Thank you! -- EDIT: I saw the box you posted on my talk page just now, will do that but also leaving this here in case you have any off-the-top advice? thank you again! Matthew -
I am a bit lost. Wireless Maritime Services was the first company to put cellular service on cruise ships. Today it is the market leader with service on over 140 ships worldwide with 360+ roaming agreements. I purposefully tried not to make it marketing piece so I need some guidance as to what the shortcomings were. As an example, the references were to just two of the press releases from the company's web page. I am unclear as to what other references you would be looking for. Thanks in advance.

My apologies, I did not rip off anything though. I simply stated about Spinney's restaurant which resides at Popham beach. The article is about Popham beach. I don't understand how the camp ground is any more famous than the restaurant. --

Than you Matthew for helping me organize my article. You need to know that English is my second language and I need help. To compound the problem I am a Mathematician, my brain is not structure to to be a good writer. I would appreciate any help you can give me by been specific. You set a set of question which are very reasonable, the why, when, who, how, etc. You know the who and the when, I am going to tell you the why and the how.
The reason why I wanted to have an article about Mekinges Conner is exactly because no much is written about her. She was extremely important in Indiana history because without her influence as an Indian princess it would have been difficult for the first pioneers to settle in the area. They would have not accepted the white men so quickly.
She was the liaison between the natives and the white men, something every article I run across about William Conner ignores or diminish. I happen to have an abstract of the title of a property that William Conner owned in Noblesville, Indiana. The abstract starts with the registration of land in 1822. The same abstract includes the trial about William Conner's estate between his indian children and his white children. Needless to say the indian children lost the trial. I just told you the why, the how is by integrating her husband into the indian society.
Since my problem sims to be the introduction, I am going to my comments here. I provably did not have a good introduction because I wanted to avoid accusing William Conner of using Mekinges for pure economical purposes and once he was established he got read of her. He was an interpreter and at the Treaty that expel the Delaware Indians from Indiana, something he favored. I fill no justice have been given to Mekinges and she needs to be recognize.
Changing the subject, I also need help navigating taking the many rools I have to follow. Sincerely, Marice — Preceding unsigned comment added by MariceEttlinCaro ( talk • contribs) 19:01, 6 October 2014 (UTC)

Hi Matthew,
Thank you for taking the trouble to review my first article (on the film-maker Digby Rumsey) and for doing this so very quickly.
I'm in a bit of a quandary: in terms of independence (and, now I see, contrary to the guidelines) I am in fact associated with the subject because I interviewed him for the purposes of garnering sufficient factual information to create the article. Is this permissible? I have attempted to remain strictly neutral and as factual as possible in the creation of the article.
My name is Julian Grainger and between 2003 and 2011 I was manager of what was then called The Filmographic Unit at The British Film Institute in London. I was Editor of the BFI's Database of Film and Television and responsible for delivering detailed, accurate credits for the all the films released each month in the UK to Sight & Sound magazine. I am also Palgrave Macmillan's in-house credits compiler for their 'BFI Film Classics', 'BFI Modern Classics' and 'BFI TV Classics' series of books. As your guidelines state, by itself the IMDb cannot be considered an authoritative source because it allow users to submit their own information. The BFI's database, on the other hand, does not allow such public submissions and the data is entered by a trained and dedicated team.
However as you say, the most significant problem with the article is lack citations. Assuming that the BFI's Database of Film and Television can be considered a notable and reliable source (?), it contains quite a few records for Rumsey's films (as well as others where he functioned as editor or sound recordist). Would citing links to a film's Collections record on the BFI's database be sufficient evidence? For example, one such Collections record (for Rumsey's film Fallacies of Vision) can be found here. Similarly, the Collections record for Rumsey's film The Pledge, which is also held as part of the National Collection at the archive in Berkhamstead, can be seen here. As you can see, many of these records themselves cite notable publications such the British National Film Catalogue.
I have added citations for the BFI database Collection records for most of films mentioned in the main article (not the filmography) but I wanted to ask you before re-submitting the draft.
I apologise that this is such a lengthy missive but any guidance on the questions above would be much appreciated.
Thank you again for your time and interest.

Facets of the Park are 1.5 miless of paved walking fields, completely covered by lights for night play. Mr. Bradshaw was instrumental in having this multi million complex, doing all as a volunteer. There was an article in the Baltimore Sun, dated 11/7/13 by Pam Wood, journalist about Mr. Bradshaw's efforts to get the Park built due to a burgeoning youth sports program at Davidsonville Athletic Association. Mr Bradshaw was President of the Association and the one who saw in the future that this Park would need to be planned for more fields for the growing Davidsonville Athletic Association group. In 2001 the children enrolled in our (DAA) was around 250. When Mr. Bradshaw stepped down as President there were almost 2,000 children playing under the DAA flag. The article writer wrote a very detailed article and the creation of Bob Bradshaw Way (the road that is the main road of the Park) All of this can be confirmed by talking to the Anne Arundel County Youth Recreation Director, whose name is Franklin Chaney. He can be reached at 410-222-7357. For further information, please contact Mr. Bradshaw at 443-867-8777. I hope this information can be entered for information on the creation of Davidsonville Park. Hi Matthew! ref. to article Sihanoukville (city)
i have the article published - just today, after i learnt the review takes 4 weeks. Obviously people have conflicting ideas about its quality. It would be interesting to learn more about all these varying forms of acceptance...anyhow the article is up: /info/en/?search=Sihanoukville_(city)

Hi Matthew! it seems i have to enlighten you on the Sihanoukville story...
ref. to your statemnet: Thank you for your submission, but the subject of this article already exists in Wikipedia. You can find it and improve it at Sihanoukville instead.
The place is a city and a province. i happened to come across the old article around a month ago. It had been created around 2005. Contents did randomly refer to either the city or the province, the entire article was badly written with lots of mistakes (form and facts) etc. So i decided to go through the whole article re-edit and tidy up - and made it the province article. a couple of days ago i had it requested to move to Sihanoukville province and prepared the new one - Sihanoukville city. As soon as the old one is renamed i am going to continue to work on it as well. This is the third time i am writing this now. Maybe this time somebody is willing to look into the matter. so - both articles are being taken care of by me - one tackles the city, the other the province...- as is the case in many places in Cambodia.
Thanks for your attention....and i would really appreciate a reply and some form of clear and straightforward cooperation. All the best Wikirictor ( talk) 17:58, 9 October 2014 (UTC)

Thanks for your feedback on the O.E.L. Graves submission I made.
> ... Graves seems to have been written about as an artist enough.
I must be doing something wrong, as I have found almost nothing on O.E.L. Graves on the Internet, especially biographical and personal information, despite a lot of research. As a result, there is almost nothing to cite as reference. My hope was that getting a Wikipedia entry started would encourage anyone with information to contribute it.
> The problem is sourcing. Firstly, you cannot link to scanned images of articles. Firstly, it implicates Wikipedia in copyright violations. Secondly, in theory you could just be making said articles up.
That is the only source I have for that information. What else can I do? It is so much better to show what little we have than to deny the public any information. A flawed source is better than none when dealing with someone so poorly documented. For all we know, everything written about Graves in that Palm Springs Life magazine was made up, even if properly cited. Let the information be disputed, or ask readers for the missing information (like the article date that was missing) or a better reference. We are doing detective work here, from my perspective. I've been searching for any information I can find on Graves, and I'm laying everything I've found on the table here. Isn't that what an encyclopedia is for?
> Secondly, make sure you're sourcing serious media/academic sources. That does not count commercial gallery blurbs, photos of his work (also a copyright violation), etc.
Who decides what is "serious", or what constitutes "media" or "academia"? I am simply citing where my information comes from. The quality and veracity of that information is something I have no control over. My references to commercial galleries were to prove Janet Gaynor had an extensive collection of Graves' work that she sold. I wasn't citing any "blurbs" about Graves from those sites.
If the owner of a Graves painting takes a picture of it and posts it online, is that a copyright violation?
> I found nearly a dozen serious news articles about him.
Did you actually go to the links and read them? I have yet to find one serious news article about Graves online. Please send me just a few of those links, and I would be delighted (assuming I haven't already seen them)!
> Go through your draft and add serious footnote to everything you can, and remove anything you can't back up with a footnote.
I think if I did that, there would be nothing of interest on O.E.L. Graves left. That's fine by me, if you just want to have a stub of a Wikipedia article for O.E.L. Graves. I was trying to make it more interesting for the reader, using the information I found interesting from all the research I did on Graves. Can't we do a "disputed" entry to get the ball rolling? Seriously, I haven't found squat on Graves. Most of my information is coming primarily from two people -- Jack Midling who I mentioned at the end of the article (who is quite old and in a retirement home), and the owner of Graves' favorite painting that Graves refused to sell to Winthrop Rockefeller. That owner bought the painting from Jack Midling decades ago after Graves died, along with a collection of pictures and information on Graves that Midling had collected as part of his business.
I can prep a stub on Graves with no references, but even then I'm not sure I can reference his real name or birth/death dates if I exclude commercial gallery blurbs or have to rely on "serious media/academic sources".
There's very little out there on Graves, which is precisely why a Wikipedia article is so important. Did you see this link?
https://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=1006011704231
My experience has been the same as the person inquiring who couldn't find info on Graves. Even nine years after the question was posted, there are only commercial gallery blurbs referenced and the one website the painting owner posted, which is the most extensive source on Graves available by far that I have seen, but apparently it can't be referenced on Wikipedia because of photocopied articles.
You've got me almost bound and gagged when it comes to O.E.L. Graves. Somehow, that doesn't seem like much of a service to the inquiring public from Wikipedia.

According to Wikipedia:Articles_for_deletion/Common_outcomes#Schools and my experience, all schools offering the secondary grades that can be verified are considered notable, even without extensive coverage in reliable sources. The assumption is that the coverage almost certainly exists, even though it may not be included in the article.

'Spinney's Restaurant rests on the edge of the beach toward Fort Popham. It is a seasonal seafood restaurant open May through September. Spinney's is run by Glenn and Diane Theall. Patrons may sit in house, or out on the deck over-looking the beach.'
Hello, I am wondering why my piece about Spinney's restaurant was declined? Could you please explain to help me understand if there are any mistakes or flaws. -- Courtney.Curtis15 ( talk) 16:58, 6 October 2014 (UTC)

Hi Matthew. You recently declined my draft on Iqbal Ansari due to citation references. I am confused about how to reference the article since there isn't much documentation of Pakistani entertainment history online. I have mostly wikipedia links as references or Youtube links to his work. He is my father and I am posting on his behalf so its an authentic account. But I don't know how to build references when there is hardly any interview or other acceptable sort of documentation online.. what do i do? please help.

Hi Matthew,
Thank you for taking the trouble to review my first article (on the film-maker Digby Rumsey) and for doing this so very quickly.

I mention this in the context of the AfC submission about the international school in Kyrgyzstan. Eastmain ( talk • contribs) 12:23, 14 October 2014 (UTC)
