Here are a few key questions:
You are currently blocked because your username is that of a group, contrary to the username policy, but also because it suggests that your business here is advertising or promotion, which are not allowed in Wikipedia. Changing the username will not allow you to violate the 3 important principles above.
What sort of edits do you intend to make, if unblocked? JohnCD ( talk) 22:35, 9 December 2012 (UTC)
Oh Ok I see what you mean, the intention of the update is not to use wikipedia as a business directory, advertising or promotion, the page that I edited before was already up and wasnt put up by me. If you see the changes that were done they wernt that different from what was originally put on there however the person that wanted them changed was the person who was being written about as it wasnt quite right. So its not for any marketing purposes other than who ever put it up there hadnt got the information quite right and it needed to be updated which is all I needed to do is this an issue? Isnt the point of an encyclopedia to have accurate information? Im not sure how this would be used for marketing purposes I thought the idea was that when someone needed to look up information on something then thats what wikipedia did, all I have done is update and correct information. I haven't used Wikipedia before so am not sure what else I would edit, I guess I would need to come across it. If the user name is unnapropriate then I can change it but I can assure you that Iam not trying to do anything other than update the information that was on the page to so when people searched for it, it was accurate. I hope that this can be resolved. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 120.136.53.221 ( talk) 22:25, 10 December 2012 (UTC)
