She is not from Ukraine , Rohatyn! Rohatyn appeared in 1939 year, after Polish-Ukrainian war. Before Rohatyn's territory was in Poland. When Hurrem lived Rohatyn's territory was in Kingdom of Poland. And there lived Poland people. Hurrem sultan Russian or Poland. She is not Ukrainian. In historical documents of Topkapi palace were written that Hurrem sultan is Russian. Don't write nonsense! In archives of Topkapi palace were written that she is Russian. I am repeating againg. Archives of Topkapy were written in 16-century in ottoman language. Archives of Topkapy unlike modern source confirmed. And "she was born a Ruthenian " is not fact. Turhan Sultan was born in Ruthenia , not Hurrem Sultan. And if Ruthenia and Ukraine are synonymous , this doesn't mean that Ruthenians are Ukrains.Ukraine and Ukrains did not exist then. Mariam110906 ( talk) 07:39, 9 September 2021 (UTC)
The ancestors of the Rusyns are Slavic tribes that lived on the territory of the Carpathians on the territory of modern Ukraine, Slovakia and Hungary. Cut off from the neighboring tribes, which gradually united into the Polish, Ukrainian and Slovak nations by the relief, and then by the state borders, the Rusyns became isolated, while maintaining, however, a special closeness with the Ukrainians. That means that Ukrainian and Ruthenian are different folks. There was Kievan Rus. Then everything was disconnected and the state of Ukraine appeared, and the people who lived there were Ukrainians.Hurrem cannot be Ukrainian for one simple fact - at that time the place where she was born took place to be in another state + Ukraine was not. Rohatyn especially. She was either Polish or Russian. Slavic, in general, that's for sure.Little Russians are precursors to modern-day Ukrainians. She was not little russian. She was from Grand Duchy of Moscow .Archives of Topkapi palace were written about that. Mariam110906 ( talk) 07:48, 9 September 2021 (UTC)

Turkish Wikipedia claims that she is Polish. And there were written that her Ukrainian version is legend. https://tr.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/H%C3%BCrrem_Sultan#K%C3%B6keni They wrote information which I told you. Mariam110906 ( talk) 12:45, 9 September 2021 (UTC)
Galicia and Volhynia clearly not Rohatyn.+ This is not a fact that she was born in Ruthenia. There is no information anywhere that she is from Ruthenia. Don't confuse her with Turhan Sultan.Wikipedias like you write whatever they want - whatever is false.Sultan Suleyman wrote to Sigismund II Augustus that "Hurrem sultan is my wife and your sister". That's why that many people think that she is Polish. And so in the documents of those times were written(in ottoman language) that she is Russian.Else Hurrem Sultan was in correspondence with the Russian king Vasily 3 in Russian language. It is confirmed information. All archives in Topkapi palace with confirmation. We Turkish people know her like that.In modern time she is known like a slavic. However,I won't let my own history be written wrong! If you will go to the Topkapi palace , you shold read the archives. To know for yourself. What you writting is not a fact. Good bye!
