The Kindness Award of
Ed
This Wikipedian has received the Kindness Award from Ed for going the extra mile to be kind to another person. Kindness is important so that there may be an improved sense of community here on Wikipedia. As a reward, I offer this user a random piece of food. (I will never give the same food item out twice, so don't be jealous.) You may read a nice story on kindness over here. |
Apologies if you're already aware of this, but the Inaugural Adelaide Meetup will take place on Thursday 24th of August at Brougham Place Uniting Church, thanks to Alex Sims. Please indicate if you will attend or not

Sorry to see you're stressed. Hope that everything works out. It really sucks that you failed in school, but hey, grades aren't everything. Hope that the move works out well! Enjoy life, and live well. Have a great day! Dooms Day349 00:40, 17 November 2006 (UTC)

I started a Esperanza on wikiquote. I am wondering if you will help me out by being its first president. Just make a link to your wikipedia user page. I hope you can help. Answer me on my talk page.-- Sir james paul 20:44, 19 November 2006 (UTC)
Yeah, I took them all in Adelaide with my own camera. They are on my commons account. Took some pics of the English cricket team at Adelaide Oval as well. Blnguyen ( bananabucket) 06:10, 20 November 2006 (UTC)
Thank you for having joined the project recently. We're always glad to welcome anyone who wants to help in the field. Please feel free to go to the project page for any ideas on what might need work, or work to create or improve significant articles on your own. We are still a comparatively new project, and as a result we (that is, me) are still working on assessing all of the articles in the scope of the project, so we don't exactly know where we are just yet in terms of what are and are not the articles most in need of attention. One think that I at least would definitely appreciate any input on is determining what we think are the most important articles we have in the project. I am starting a new project sub-page at Wikipedia:WikiProject Dogs/Top-importance articles where I'm asking each of the members to indicate which articles they think are of top-importance to the project, as per the criteria on the Wikipedia:WikiProject Dogs/Assessment page. We can then try to focus some of our current attention on bringing the selected articles up to a higher standard. Your input in the selection would be very much appreciated. Thanks again for joining, and if I can ever help out in any way, please feel free to contact me. Badbilltucker 18:14, 20 November 2006 (UTC)
I have worked in industries in both the US and Europe and have found hex to be more common in both regions. More importantly Allen is a trademark that became genericized. The photocopier article is not under xerox for the same reason. Allen redirects to Hex along with a dozen other trademarks that are/were used in other companies. So everyone will still find the article.

Hey Doctor =) you seem to be pretty with it, so i was wondering if you could review my article on Aquinas College, Perth at Wikipedia:Peer review/Aquinas College, Perth/archive4 , I have spent a considerable amount of time on this article and have been lacking in the feedback dept. Thanks =) Smbarnzy 12:52, 10 January 2007 (UTC)
