Friendly warning - Siege of Malta

As a new editor to Wikipedia I'm going to let that edit summary comment pass. But for future reference: as I am established member, don't ever refer to any of my edits as vandalism. If you had bothered to ask, the naming convention in the article, to avoid POV, is alphabetically labelled with the exception of Malta, which is the 'home team'. It is not about who did the 'mostist'. Dapi89 ( talk) 18:11, 9 February 2011 (UTC) reply

  • Let me remind you that Malta was a British possession, Malta did not have 'Home rule' like Canada, South Africa did etc and yes it has nothing to with the 'mostist'. The Home Team is the United Kingdom. Mang ( talk) 20:46, 9 February 2011 (GMT)
No it is not. You need geography lessons my friend. The UK is not in the Mediterranean and Malta is a country in its own right. As I have already said, this in alphabetical order with the exception of the Home Team ,which is Malta, not Britain. Not to mention the style is ugly. Dapi89 ( talk) 22:49, 9 February 2011 (UTC) reply
Sigh... Malta was ruled by the United Kingdom and gained independence in the 60's since you are not aware of this and the fact you explained that the flags are in alphabetical order I will leave this alone. Mang ( talk) 23:04, 9 February 2011 (GMT
You're missing the point. I need no history lessions about the British Empire. The point is: Malta is a country in its own right it goes first, the rest come in alphabetical order to avoid this sort of nonsense. Imperial politics is irrelevant. Dapi89 ( talk) 17:03, 10 February 2011 (UTC) reply
At the time it wasn't that is the point I'm making. Perhaps you may wish to replace the Spanish flag for example when talking about Chile in the 1700's in Wikipedia. Now do you see my point. Mang ( talk) 21:38, 10 February 2011 (GMT)

Malta - not so friendly warning

Look at what you are doing. You have just reverted back to a version that included Malta first. Do not include the division bar as it looks unsightly. Dapi89 ( talk) 23:16, 27 March 2011 (UTC) reply

Apologies about this error MangYang ( talk) 23:28, 27 March 2011 (UTC) reply

Its easily done. I can't exactly claim not to have done the same thing. Its just annoying when someone has a go about something one hasn't done. Dapi89 ( talk) 23:34, 27 March 2011 (UTC) reply

Malta: Sources

Do you have sources for 1942? If you have it would be helpful if you could sort out the 1942 parts. Dapi89 ( talk) 23:41, 27 March 2011 (UTC) reply

I will look into it.. it seems a bit scanty at present and needs significantly upgrading which I was adding images MangYang ( talk) 23:49, 27 March 2011 (UTC) reply

The Third Phase does need a lot more information on the relief attempts for Malta; particularly Operation Pedestal, Operation Stone Age and Operation Portcullis I may add these in as 'further information' just after the third phase title. MangYang ( talk) 16:10, 29 March 2011 (UTC) reply
Hi I don't know why I have been blocked can someone please explain. MangYang ( talk) 21:21, 30 March 2011 (UTC) Help! reply
