I have provided citations and references on the article Ronald R. Yager, and gradually improving the page since November; and each time, when I remove the flag from MikeWazowski, I respectfully explained what I have done to improve the article in the edit summary. I believe that MikeWazowski was not objective. I would appreciate if you can tell me specifically what is wrong with the article that I have contributed, and what justifies the flag that you raised, when the citations and references are from neutral and reliable sources such as IEEE, Google Scholar, Journals etc. I am also in the process of providing more citations, references, and material to the page. By blocking my edits, you are not giving me a fair chance to improve the article. I sincerely would like an administrator to help me to improve and not to make any more mistakes, as I'm new to wikipedia editing. Thanks & Regards.

You can see the same bio appearing in other conferences such as http://www.searchenginestrategies.com/archives/2011/newyork/speaker-profiles.php#ronald-yager. I further provide neutral and reliable sources from IEEE and Google Scholars on Yager's accomplishments. Do you have any other suggestions to improve? Thanks. - Hi. Just finding something on the internet does not mean it is in the public domain (which is a specific term meaning nobody owns the copyright of it). - Hi All: Yager himself provided his bio to be used in many public conferences and public speaking. There are several conference websites using this same public bio, including the ones that I sent. Furthermore in my edits on Ronald R. Yager, I have provided references to IEEE and Google Scholar, which are neutral and reliable sources to validate his accomplishments as stated in his bio. I really don't think that there's any copyright issues here. But if this is a concern and that I'm wrong, I respectfully ask an administrator to unblock me so that I can write a new bio section (referencing neutral and reliable sources). Thanks. To Machintas: I'm new to wiki editing myself, but I think why you keep getting the warning tag needing more citations for your Yager article (and the related tag about "possible original research") is that you need to insert references to secondary sources into the text of the article, to support your statements of fact. Use the little function button at the top of the editing page that looks like a book (6th from the left, right after the "chain" that lets you add links). And look for sources independent from the subject himself - e.g., sources other than his cv, where possible. I found some and put them in; probably you can find a lot more than I can! THANKS to jpgordon, I understand now that I was blocked solely because I removed the maintenance templates, depsite being told so repeatedly. I am appealing to lift the block for the reasons as follows: :(1) I admit that I have removed the maintenance template, and I will not do it again. I like to further clarify that this was not done intentionally, and I am not aware that I cannot remove the maintenance template (as I thought that any editor can remove the tag after making improvements to the article and explaining the change in the edit summary). As a sporadic contributor to Wikipedia (and one who just created the Ronald R. Yager article since November), I am not familiar with the evolving rules in wikipedia editing; and I hardly use my talk page, and hence I did not realize that I have been warned a couple of times yesterday by this editor MikeWazowski on my page. :(2) If the block is lifted, I will write a new "Professional Career" section and other new sections on Ronald R. Yager that are based on neutral and reliable sources. :(3) If the block is lifted, I will not remove the maintenance template. I will discuss with the administrators or editors (who have added any maintenance templates) and focus on improving the content of the article. I will also adhere to the process set in Wikipedia:Dispute resolution if there's any issue with editors/administrators. I will further spend some time familiarizing myself with wikipedia editing process. :(4) One of the good things being blocked is that I get to read and use my own talk page for discussions; and I see that many helpful administrators and editors are assisting others to improve articles on their own talk pages. I will consult the help of administrators who are generous with their time to review and improve my articles. I will also give back time to help others, who like me, just need a little help in review and feedback on articles that they are developing.
