Hello Vanderwaalforces,

We created this page because our company receives lots of questions from non-stakeholders (numismatists, monetary authorities, media,...) about the history of our company, such as the relation to the famous sculptor Alfons / Alphonse Mauquoy and the related companies that we acquired and sold throughout our history.

They sometimes ask why there is no wikipedia page about us, while most other mints all have an extensive wikipedia page (royal mint, monnaie de paris,...)

We are an economically important company with 150 years of cultural and economic history. Most of the content is about our history and not promotional. Is our company not important enough for Wiki? Or should we leave out the section below about the products currently offered? Should only an external party write about our company?

Please let us know what the issue is, so we know if we need to rewrite, ask our coin collectors to publish what they want to share,... or other solution.

Hi Josh,

I am new here and the Wiki guidelines are not easy for a newcomer. This page was created because we are basically the only company in our industry that did not have its own Wiki page yet and we receive lots of inquiries from numismatists and other non-commercial stakeholders.

I chose the user name and disclosed my relationship especially to be transparent as stipulated in the guidelines, and now I am being blocked... I was trying to contribute but this way it becomes too cumbersome. I will tell collectors to draft something on Wiki themselves, even though they are certainly not as well informed as we are.
