Your President of the Maldives move request
Per WP:RMUM, you would've been entitled to revert the bold move you've expressed an objection to. Had you done it this way, someone preferring President of Maldives would've had to submit a move request and then attempt to build consensus to move it to that. It seems to me you've made it a bit harder for yourself by submitting a move request when your preferred title is not the status quo β i.e. you put the WP:ONUS onto yourself to build consensus for President of the Maldives, and you didn't need to do that. Per WP:RMEC, so long as no one has commented yet, I believe you are entitled to withdraw your move request, revert the editor's move, and leave it to them to submit a move request if they so wish.
