Hello and welcome to Wikipedia! Hope you like it here, and stick around.
Here are some tips to help you get started:
Good luck!

Coloca a maioria dessas coisas em Music of Portugal.
Quanto à imagem aconselho-te a guardares a tua preocupação.
Aconcelho-o, tb, a visitar e usar a wikipédia em lingua portuguesa. - Pedro 23:56, 3 Apr 2005 (UTC)
Thanks. I think the vandals are just a couple of kids using the school computer. (The IP address is run by Trafford Council, so it's probably either a school or a library.) Like most kids, they've got a lot of creativity and a lot of enthusiasm and energy, but they don't know how to harness it. P Ingerson 09:15, 30 Apr 2005 (UTC)
Sorry about that! My dumb mistake; I guess I wasn't really paying attention... Thanks for fixing it. Shane Smith 17:46, 4 May 2005 (UTC)
I am cleaning up the page, as you requested. I am thinking that since the party still exists today, I think the page can be formated a bit differently. Zscout370 (talk) 00:58, 5 May 2005 (UTC)

es possible. i've never heard of the rose as a symbol of socialism, except, i think, the labour paty in britain. do you think it might be a stylized variant? maybe we should e-mail the socialist international and see what they have to say. gaidheal 00:17, 23 May 2005 (UTC)
I know, which is why after reverting I rewrote the sentence to clarify it - it now reads reach the number of goals scored rather than score them. Qwghlm 23:36, May 26, 2005 (UTC)

Hi, i've been working on trying to set-up articles on the, often confusing, portuguese far left. I have a few questions I would like help with:
Hi,
have a look at Wikipedia:Leftist Parties and Movements Collaboration of the Week. -- Soman 20:31, 1 October 2005 (UTC)
Oi,
Hey, No problem! It was actually a lot of fun (I had no idea that's where the phrase "workers of the world unite!" came from -- so educational!) and a good introduction to the community. Your English is great (I'm just picky...). chriss 22:24, 29 December 2005 (UTC)
Hi, I am looking for people who would know more about, or have more information about the last Portuguese governor of Macau. I am unable to find any substantial information on him in English. I apologize for the direct request, and if you are not able to work on the article, I completely undertand. However, I would be most grateful for any information that you could contribute. Obrigado! Indiana Fats 16:22, 8 October 2005 (UTC)

Hi, please vote at Wikipedia:Categories for deletion/Log/2005 November 6 concerning Category:Stalinists. -- Soman 19:53, 8 November 2005 (UTC)
Thanks for uploading Image:Jose Afonso, Cantigas Do Maio.gif. I notice the image page currently doesn't specify who created the image, so the copyright status is therefore unclear. If you have not created the image yourself then you need to argue that we have the right to use the image on Wikipedia (see copyright tagging below). If you have not created the image yourself then you should also specify where you found it, i.e., in most cases link to the website where you got it, and the terms of use for content from that page.
If the image also doesn't have a copyright tag then you must also add one. If you created/took the picture then you can use {{gfdl}} to release it under the GFDL. If you can claim fair use use {{fairuse}}. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other images, please check that you have specified their source and copyright tagged them, too. You can find a list of image pages you have edited by going to "Your contributions" from your user page and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any unsourced and untagged images will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thanks so much. -- Agnte 15:16, 20 November 2005 (UTC)
I want to know why did you made this change [1] in the percentages of votes. The data was correct and now I don't see how did you made the calculations. (Please reply in my PT.WP talk page) -- Bigs slb 05:23, 21 December 2005 (UTC)
Sorry that I wiped your edit when I made my copyedit; I was short of time and decided it would be quicker to force my edit despite the edit conflict and then reapply your changes than it would be to reapply mine. I then ran out of time reapplying your changes, but they're back now.
"Responsibles" is not a word in English. There is no noun "responsible", which is why I substituted "leadership". Since that doesn't convey your meaning, perhaps it could be worded "those responsible for" instead?- gadfium 00:57, 29 December 2005 (UTC)
Oh, ok, sure, I didn't know that. Let's do that. Thanks! Mário 10:03, 29 December 2005 (UTC)
The classification of Salazar's regime is questionable and a controversial issue, but it had several fascist characteristics, in the same way that many non-communist regimes are regarded as communist, why can't be the portuguese regarded as fascist? Was Franco a fascist? I think it was. You can be considered a fascist if you have a militia and a political police, like PIDE, if you support corporativism, if you take communism as the country's biggest enemy as Salazar did, if you have only one party, if you send troops to aid Franco in the spanish civil war along with Italy and Germany, if you have a concentration camp for political prisoners, Tarrafal, if you call your national day the "day of the race", if you send 10.000 soldiers to die in colonial wars, just to keep the empire in the 1970s, etc... Every member of the resistance is called anti-fascist in Portugal. Their organization is the Union of the Portuguese Anti-fascists, the "fascist regime" is present everyday.
But anyway, if that is the only objection to the FA status, I can change fascist for right-wing dictatorial or something, and anti-fascist for "member of the resistance". Thanks anyway for your work on the article. Mário 00:01, 30 December 2005 (UTC)
Hi Alfonso. It's very awkward being an activist reviewer of FACs, because people put a lot of work into them. I'd like to edit every nomination, but I just haven't the time, and I have too much paid editing to do more than critique small portions from nominated articles. My objectives are to raise the standards of FAs, and indirectly, of all WP articles by the example they set. To do this, I need to critique as many nominations as I can, in limited time.
I do sometimes edit whole nominations—those that I'm particularly interested in, and those that are put forward by people I know.
The fact that yours is rather long is a further problem here.
