Welcome!

Hello, Lxiaomes, and welcome to Wikipedia! I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, one or more of the pages you created, such as User:Lxiaomes/sandbox, may not conform to some of Wikipedia's guidelines, and may not be retained.

A tag has been placed on your user page, User:Lxiaomes/sandbox, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be advertising which only promotes or publicises someone or something. Promotional editing of any kind is not permitted, whether it be promotion of a person, company, product, group, service, belief, or anything else. This is a violation of our policies regarding acceptable use of user pages — user pages are intended for active editors of Wikipedia to communicate with one another as part of the process of creating encyclopedic content, and should not be mistaken for free webhosting resources or advertising space. Please read the guidelines on spam, the guidelines on user pages, and, especially, our FAQ for Organizations.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. — Frayæ ( Talk/ Spjall) 15:05, 13 August 2018 (UTC) reply

Hi, thanks for message. Although you asked about restoring the deleted text, in fact you already had a draft version posted, so that wasn't necessary. However, I've now deleted the draft too. Comments on the reasons for the deletion below refer to the draft, since the sandbox was, if anything, worse.

You have an obvious conflict of interest and you must declare it. If you work directly or indirectly for an organisation, or otherwise are acting on its behalf, you are very strongly discouraged from attempting to write an article at all. If you are paid directly or indirectly by the organisation you are writing about, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:Lxiaomes. The template {{ Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=Lxiaomes|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}. If you are being compensated, please provide the required disclosure. Note that editing with a COI is discouraged, but permitted as long as it is declared. Concealing a COI can lead to a block. Please do not edit further until you respond to this message. I see now you have made a declaration on the article page, but that's the wrong place. Cut and paste it to your user page at User:Lxiaomes and the article talk page instead.

I deleted your article because

  • it did not provide independent verifiable sources to enable us to verify the facts and show that it meets the notability guidelines. Sources that are not acceptable include those linked to the company, press releases, YouTube, IMDB, social media and other sites that can be self-edited, blogs, websites of unknown or non-reliable provenance, and sites that are just reporting what the company claims or interviewing its management. Your "references" were in fact nearly all to your own website
  • The notability guidelines for organisations and companies have been updated. The primary criteria has five components that must be evaluated separately and independently to determine if it is met:
  1. significant coverage in
  2. independent,
  3. multiple,
  4. reliable,
  5. secondary sources.
Note that an individual source must meet all four criteria to be counted towards notability. Since your article had few, if any, independent references, it cannot meet the notability criteria.
  • it was written in a promotional tone. Articles must be neutral and encyclopaedic. Examples of unsourced or self-sourced claims presented as fact include: Almost immediately, the company expanded its focus from sourcing... the company saw its sales increase by 220 percent over 2012... The MES customer base consists of original equipment manufacturers... The company deals directly with global suppliers to procure and deliver aluminum... MES values the diversity of backgrounds and cultures in its workforce... majority of the company’s staff is multilingual... reflects the founder’s commitment to a corporate culture of trust and honesty. All MES employees have the freedom to express themselves. Everyone in the company is empowered to treat it constituents — coworkers, customers, and suppliers — with fairness and transparency. The fact that you have declared a COI doesn't mean that you can write what you like, it just means that you won't be blocked immediately
  • it's all about what the company organisation sells. To show notability you need hard verifiable facts such as the turnover or profits
  • there shouldn't be any url links in the article, only in the "References" or "External links" sections. That's particularly the case when they are spamlinks to affiliated sites.
  • Some, at least, of the text was taken from the MES website and was a copyright violation. Copyrighted text is not allowed in Wikipedia, as outlined in this policy. That applies even to pages created by you or your organisation, unless they state clearly and explicitly that the text is public domain. The copied site was marked Copyright © MES, Inc. All rights reserved.. We require that text posted here can be used, modified and distributed for any purpose, including commercial but there is no indication that the copied site allows free use. Text is considered to be copyright unless explicitly stated otherwise. There are ways to donate copyrighted text to Wikipedia, as described here; please note that simply asserting on the talk page that you are the owner of the copyright, or you have permission to use the text, isn't sufficient.

We often restore deleted text on request, but for legal reasons we don't do so for copyright violations. In any case, there was little factual content in your draft, so better to start from scratch.

Before attempting to write an article again, please make sure that the topic meets the notability criteria linked above, and check that you can find independent third party sources. Also read Your first article. You must also reply to the COI request above in the prescribed manner.
