{{helpme}} I did just get a response and thank you. I finished my page and even saw them finished, however, when i went back to it it had been deleted, and it's not even in the history! is there any way i can get this back?

Your page probably got speedy deleted. This means someone thought that it didn't meet the notability guidelines. See, article that aren't notable enough are deleted from Wikipedia to remove unnecessary pages from Wikipedia. If you think that the article IS notable, you have to prove that is it notable by filling the notability guidelines. You can read them at the link provided. {{ helpme}} Where did my page go! I saved it saw it and then it wouldn't save...what is going on!

Not sure what you are referring to, but somehow it must have not been saved on the server, or you moved to another page while it was updating. Sorry, but I can't really say what glitch happened. Sometimes wikipedia hangs for me and I need to copy whatever I am doing to word, reload the page, then copy it back in again. -- Terrillja talk 16:55, 16 December 2008 (UTC) reply

Retrieving a deleted article

Hello Lulu848, if your article has been deleted, it will not show in your contributions list. If you haven't got a back-up copy, you can contact the administrator who deleted the article and ask if they could restore it to your user page or could direct you to another administrator who can do this. Try making a link here to the exact title of your article when you published it. Make sure it follows the same capitalization too. Then click on the link. If it was deleted it will tell you when, why, and by whom.

Here's an example. Click on this deleted article Noelle Brooks. You'll see something like:

03:10, 2 April 2008 Philippe (Talk | contribs) deleted "Noelle Brooks" ‎ (AfD discussion: Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Noelle Brooks).

Philippe is the user name of the administrator who deleted that particular article. Clicking on Talk will take you to his talk page where you can leave him a message.
