Greetings! A recent change has been made in the clerking system at Wikipedia:Requests for checkuser. There are no longer any obstacles to editors who wish to help out in this areas, as the standby list has now been deprecated. You were listed as a volunteer on the standby list before it was deprecated. If you are still interested in helping out in this area, please:
I am not involved with the checkuser system. I am acting only to inform you of this change. Thank you. -- Durin 14:33, 9 March 2007 (UTC)
Sorry my bad... Ive made a new page without any material from a website. I will request permission next time before using any copyrighted material. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Capeguy ( talk • contribs) 20:59, 9 March 2007 (UTC).
Any reason you reverted my edit only to revert yours? It was painfully obvious that my edit was correct and that there was nothing wrong with it. -- Bloigen 18:41, 11 March 2007 (UTC)
I need to be heared out. Viacom suck. YouTube is a free video hosting site and now Viacom are suing them out of $1 billion. They suck! —The preceding unsigned comment was added by YesMapRadio ( talk • contribs) 19:45, 13 March 2007 (UTC).
I just want to know, how do you cancel a checkuser? Squirepants101 01:00, 16 March 2007 (UTC)
Sure, no problem, though Zaira isn't meant to be just a disambig page. Hopefully it will blossom into a full article about this wonderful name. So more of a split than a move. Cheers, Moreschi Request a recording? 11:32, 19 March 2007 (UTC)
Hi again,
I filed a checkuser on FNMF. Due to the severity of disruption of this case (he involved Jimbo), and due to the fact that the evidence logs will evaporate in fewer than 2 days, is there anyway you can escalate this problem and bring it to the more urgent attention of the checkuser admins? -- Otheus 08:12, 21 March 2007 (UTC)
Also, there's one filed on me. The filer makes some spurious and incorrect claims. Is there a place for me to comment? -- Otheus 08:17, 21 March 2007 (UTC)
I don't understand what you've done to the request? I put in the follow up here but it didnt show on the checkuser page for some reason.Coudld you sort it out please. - Deathrocker 15:16, 21 March 2007 (UTC)
Hey there
You changed the AIV warning on my talk page. Thanks, but what was that all about? I always put vandals on AIV if they have a warning on their page already.
I'm confused :-(

How is the Evidox page i created advertisment? Everything I wrote is a fact. So are you saying that we should not have companys in Wikipedia? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Bhuelsman ( talk • contribs).
I would like to add a new report at the top of Wikipedia:Requests for checkuser/Case/Etimesoy, for the following user:
Is it OK if I go ahead? Or do you need to archive/close that page first?-- Endroit 15:27, 22 March 2007 (UTC)
Ah, sorry about the cut and paste move. I knew it was possible to move the whole article, but I thought only admins could do that. I didn't even think about the history being affected. Just to clear something up--once the article at Climber (video game) is deleted, then I use the move tab to move the article from Climber (videogame)? I can't move it now? Thanks for the help, man. -- pie4all88 09:32, 23 March 2007 (UTC)
Oops, forgot to add--should I revert the redirection I made at Climber (videogame)? Sorry, I'm not real up to date on this. -- pie4all88 09:34, 23 March 2007 (UTC)
Ok, thanks a lot, man. -- pie4all88 09:55, 23 March 2007 (UTC)
Please leave the Ted Owens page up as a stub, I will write something original when I have time.
Somebody had the coach linked to Ted Owens, some type of psycho, and very insulting.
I was attempting to quickly set the record straight until I could write up something better.

Thank you for your reply. Could you tell me if any of the users are socket puppets of Venki123 ( talk · contribs) or if any of the ips are related to this person? He has been constantly vandalising articles and trashing heavily referenced sections for over 4 months now. Thanks. Mudaliar 04:23, 25 March 2007 (UTC)
You probably noticed it already, but User:Bhuelsman got a bit nasty on your main user page. I see you tried to enforce policy on one of his articles. Some people...anyway, I reverted and dropped a uw-vandalism4im on his talk page. Bullzeye Complaint Dept./ Contribs) 06:22, 25 March 2007 (UTC)

Been redirecting redundant pages, but User:Uroddmitri continues to recreate duplicates. Would you be able to help with this? --Aldis90
You might want to consider running a checkuser on that one by the way. I don't know the whole story so I would screw it up, you'll need to find a recently blocked sock of him.
Hi. Please help me. I'm create same articles about Ranks of the Chinese People's Liberation Army.Regardless of whether or not User:Botisaf was a sockpuppet of Roitr, his edit on this page appears to be valid. I am agree with him. Becouse I create this article. I has copied pictures Uniform Insignia and create same articles about it. According to many sources two Chinese marshal-equivalent ranks are in fact created. -- Dmitry does not wish to agree with article made by User:Botisaf, but I think that they are correct. -- Dmitry now think that I am a sockpuppet of User:Botisaf, but it is wrong. Please Help me to keep the correct facts. As I was convinced from -- Dmitry works-he does not know much about Chinese ranks. But it is not clear why he delete exact data. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Uroddmitri ( talk • contribs).
Re Wikipedia:Requests_for_checkuser/Case/Benjiwolf. I am not sure I have really got the correct code letter on this case because there is not a ban from Arbitration commitee. There is ban put in place by AuburnPilot for sockpupetry to evade a ban. And we really need to determine if MnemosynesMusings is a sockpuppet of Benjiwolf because if he is then he is using a futher sockpuppet to evade his ban. The evidence that suggests MnemosynesMusings may be a sockpuppet of Benjiwolf is tabulated here Wikipedia:Suspected sock puppets/Benjiwolf (2nd).
Is there a more appropriate code letter for such a case? Ttguy 14:02, 28 March 2007 (UTC)
Hi. Thanks for responding so quickly to the helpme tag on my talk page, but just letting you know, that wasn't me that put the tag there, it was a ctrl/c ctrl/v from another talk page to reply on mine. Sorry if there was any confusion- CattleGirl talk | sign! 08:03, 29 March 2007 (UTC)

Re [6], I think using {{ selfref}} on dab pages like AIV is not as bad as on articles like OTRS. The problem with self-refs on articles is that it doesn't make sense for readers of Wikipedia or people printing articles via e.g. PediaPress, and that linking to the wikipedia namespace on the talk page namespace is sufficient. Since {{ selfref}} contradicts WP:SELF, I'll wait for community consensus and I won't remove the link from OTRS. -- Jeandré, 2007-03-30 t10:57z
I recently created an article which was well with in the terms defined by the rules of the site. It was in regards to a character that is gaining momentum and fame on the internet, which would make for a worthy new article yet it was removed and I was warned to not make anymore 'useless' articles. I'd like this to be re-evaluated please.
