I've removed your edit from the Steampunk page because it appears to be advertising. Please feel free to discuss this with me on my talk page if you feel I have done so in error, and that this book is notably relevant to Steampunk. Holzman-Tweed ( talk) 16:52, 22 November 2017 (UTC)
Hello, I'm Barek. I wanted to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions to Science fiction have been undone because they appeared to be promotional. Advertising and using Wikipedia as a " soapbox" are against Wikipedia policy and not permitted; Wikipedia articles should be written objectively, using independent sources, and from a neutral perspective. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about Wikipedia. Thank you. --- Barek ( talk • contribs) - 01:13, 28 November 2017 (UTC)
Please do not add promotional material to Wikipedia, as you did to Historical fiction. While objective prose about beliefs, organisations, people, products or services is acceptable, Wikipedia is not intended to be a vehicle for soapboxing, advertising or promotion. Thank you. --- Barek ( talk • contribs) - 01:14, 28 November 2017 (UTC)
Hello, Lexus18. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, " sandbox/Once Upon A Time Slip".
In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia
mainspace, the draft has been nominated for deletion. If you plan on working on it further, or editing it to address the issues raised if it was declined, simply and remove the {{db-afc}}
, {{db-draft}}
, or {{db-g13}}
code.
If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by following the instructions at this link. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.
Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. Sam Sailor 14:52, 1 June 2018 (UTC)
