Yes I know, its just that I have the time for a few days, and I thought well let's finished with this album, it would be interesting to have a good or even a featured topic about the True Blue era, we only need to improve the album's article. I probably will do "Who's That Girl" after this one, since another user is alredy gathering information about " Heart of Glass", the song that I wanted to do :( . That's why I decided to finish this project. Hope you didn't mind it. Frcm1988 ( talk) 03:24, 30 March 2009 (UTC)
I do have that one, but about the background it only says that the title comes from Sean Penn's favorite saying. Frcm1988 ( talk) 05:10, 30 March 2009 (UTC)
I would do it myself, but I don't have the time right know. Hope you can make the changes before someone review the article. Regards. Frcm1988 ( talk) 05:47, 4 April 2009 (UTC)
Hey! To be honest, it was just a random moment of thought. I use the name IAmColonel (another random moment) for forums and stuff, and get called "IAC". And my real name begins with K, so i just combined it. So no real meaning, just an abbreviation really. I see you've hitched a ride on the LotR wagon, nice :) k-i-a-c ( hitmeup - the past) 10:34, 31 March 2009 (UTC)
Oooh, great work so far! :) I'll see what I can do. I'll sneak around for interviews regarding the background of the song. :) And cool that you're going to work on the album, as well! With how much great information you have put into the articles about the album's songs, it should be very easy to do! :) And the "Like a Virgin" era should be interesting, you'll have a ton of fun finding hilarious articles that overreact to the songs she released on the album. ;) One day I may try my hand at editing the "Lucky Star" article (That's my favorite Madonna song!) but for now I'll stick to helping everyone else out, while still working on getting No Jacket Required ready for a featured article review. :) Have a good one! Hey there! Thanks for the note. :) I will look at your concern when I work on the things Realist2 had asked me to do. I'm quite honestly tempted to just remove the damn thing, because no matter where I put it (And believe me, I spent a good 20 minutes figuring out where to put the thing...) it always interrupts the flow. I'm going to ask Realist2 if it matters all that much if I remove it, since it's in the " Sussudio" article anyway. Have a good one! :) CarpetCrawler ( talk) 05:43, 1 April 2009 (UTC)
Could I persuade you to use a different edit summary for the first-time insertion of a bad chart? Most of the first time insertions are good-faith mistakes from people that don't know the chart is on WP:BADCHARTS, so an edit summary of "revert vandalism" isn't appropriate. I just use an edit summary of " WP:BADCHARTS", because that provides the guideline. If I use rollback or a bare undo, I go over to the talk page and leave a message. User talk:201.209.224.71 shows the list I go through. You don't have to get that fancy, but please at least leave a WP:BADCHARTS link in the edit summary. If you don't do that, a good-faith newbie has no idea why you are removing his edit.— Kww( talk) 11:43, 1 April 2009 (UTC)

Hi there! I hope you saw my edits to the True Blue page. :) I'm in the process of working on editing the song, "All Through the Night" by Cyndi Lauper, in my sandbox. I'm not good at finding references to charts. Would you be able to help me out in finding sources for all of the chart data in the article? Check out this link right here, which has what I've worked on so far. If you don't have the time to do so, don't worry about it. :) Have a good one! :) CarpetCrawler ( talk) 04:39, 2 April 2009 (UTC)

Maybe you think you are Mr. Wikipedia, or that this is your personal page or something, but it is not. It's not YOU who judges which countries are more important than others. In fact, I gave you a link where you can see that Spain is a bigger market than Ireland, New Zealand, etc... If you can't read it's not my problem. If you keep removing things and acting as if this was your personal blog, it will be me who will write to an administrator so that YOU will be blocked. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 88.11.46.0 ( talk) 15:26, 2 April 2009 (UTC)

(Outdent) One thing you could try is to add information from the articles about the singles, into the main album article. That can help the article out. Unfortunately, it's not that easy for songs that were not released as singles. Unless they're very famous, there's probably not much information available. It was a pain to do the same thing for No Jacket Required. I was lucky that Phil Collins had posted on his website's message board, where he answered questions from the fans, and a lot of his songs on the album were discussed by him. That's a problem with Wikipedia, they expect every album article to have a TON of information, when it's not that easy. Not enough wiki reviewers giving the benefit of the doubt. Anyway, I think you should try adding info about the singles into the article. Like composition, the history, the music videos, and such. Not a complete copy-paste job, but enough info to "beef up" the article, if you know what I mean. Have a good one, and I'll take a look at the article in a little while. :) CarpetCrawler ( talk) 05:50, 7 April 2009 (UTC)

Great work! The article is coming along well together now! Very clever idea to add the ban that Network Ten made to the music video. It sure does juice up the page and adds a little controversy! As you said, now we need to add live performances. I will take further look into the structure and formatting of La Isla Bonita's "Live Performance" section.
As far as I know, she has performed LoveGame on the MTV Sessions UK along with her other singles: Just Dance, Poker Face, Beautiful Dirty Rich and also at AOL Sessions. Obviously, she would of performed it at The Fame Ball Tour. Child Funk ( talk) 22:35, 7 April 2009 (UTC)

Child Funk ( talk) 06:26, 8 April 2009 (UTC)
Just want to thank the people on this page as they seem to understand what I and others have been trying to say. The problem as is evident from what is said above is that Legolas just doesn't bother reading what I have written or just doesn't seem to understand what I have written. It is obvious from numerous comments that you really haven't read anything I have said. Maybe I needed to clarify my position. But it seems that people like Childfunk seem to understand the ideas I am trying to convey, so it begs the question, why can't you. It was stated that we didn't have good German charts to go by. So I offered 3 that I have saved. Two of those are actually the same chart. I then am told that they aren't good charts, without any reason why. So I asked why they weren't considered good charts and I get told to take the discussion elsewhere. I offer a suggestion that we limit the countries on the discography page, but give a full listing of available peak positions on the pages for those songs. I did not suggest that the certifications not be on the discography page. I just suggested that they should be listed below the singles and not be listed in with them. It makes the chart look cluttered and messy. This way they take up less space and the lay out for the chart looks more professional. I and others again are given an attitude for making any suggestion. Legolas, I don't want to argue with you and I don't think anyone else does either. Just take the time to understand what I and other have written. If you are not sure you understand what we are trying to convey, then please ask questions for clarification. It helps no one on here to respond with an attitude. We don't have to agree, but we should be able to understand where the other is coming from. You claim you have not been rude to me or others on the page, but please tell me how you would feel if someone responded the way you did. Because whether you think you said something wrong or not, your replies did insult me. Telling someone to Take it elsewhere can be only taken so many ways. There was a better way to say the same thing without coming across as rude. As I said I don't want to fight. I want to help in what way I can with my knowledge of the music charts. So please If I or someone else asks for clarification as to why something is being done a certain way, deleted, reverted etc. Take the time to answer in a way that doesn't come across as rude or inconsiderate. Because that is the way I & others are interpreting it regardless of how you may feel you have written it. There is a better way to talk to people here. Please take the time to read your responses before you send them. It's obvious numerous people beside me are taking them the wrong way as well. ( MoovieStarz ( talk) 19:10, 8 April 2009 (UTC))
Hey, I havent been involved with this, so I'll read everything and get caught up. Do you have a mediator for it yet? I obviously should not mediate due to my past history with him. - eo ( talk) 14:07, 8 April 2009 (UTC)

I would be honored to help out. As we can't use Youtube as a reference, it will be rather difficult in finding some revelant information that we can input into the article. There are several interviews in which she states the background of the song (those being similar to the ones we have already listed on the article as of right now.) As far as I know, it's about the gamble of love and some of her desires. I'll tackle the issue in a deeper aproach so that I may help you expand the article.
New Zealend, hmmm! It has increased in digital downloads and has hit the Top 100 Songs on the NZ iTunes store but as far as airplay goes, I absolutely have no idea. Generally, New Zealend tends to follow the music that we play over here in Australia so if airplay increases here, then it most likely will over there aswel. Hopefully, some chart or airplay statistics will be released to the public sometime during the next week..
Anyway, i'll try and work on both whenever i'm online on Wikipedia.

Wikipedia's policy clearly states non-free content is used only where no free equivalent is available, or could be created, that would serve the same encyclopedic purpose.'. You are reverting other editors edits over displaying a poster in the article. There are several free images provide in the article it self that superseeds a non-free images. Please do turn molehill into a mountain. Grantruly ( talk) 21:08, 9 April 2009 (UTC)
FYI, User:Grantruly has been blocked as a sock of a blocked user who specializes in aggressive edit warring on concert tour articles. By WP:BAN#Reincarnations you can revert his edits on the The Fame Ball Tour article. Grantruly was also wrong about the non-free use policy; it's quite alright to use a fair use tour poster as the infobox image, and then also have free photos of the concert itself in the article body. This is equivalent to an album or single article having the fair use cover in the infobox, and then also have free images later on. Wasted Time R ( talk) 03:36, 13 April 2009 (UTC)

Hello! :) Good to see you're back, I was wondering where you went! Anyway, how are things in your life? I decided to go ahead and nominate " All Through the Night (Cyndi Lauper song)" for GAN. I've added your name and Frcm's name along with mine when I nominated it, since I feel you both were just as important in that article's incredible improvement as I was. :) Let's hope for the best! And if you have anything to add to the article, still feel free. :) Let's hope for the best, and for a review! I saw that " La Isla Bonita" still hasn't been reviewed, nor have your other articles. Thankfully, the articles are moving up heavily, so soon they'll be reviewed. Bonita was at the same spot as " Captain Jack (song)" when that got reviewed (And passed! I'm so happy!!!). Good luck on that. :) I'm sure Lady Gaga has done an interview about the song, I mean it's #1 on the radio! Maybe Google News can help you with finding the background. ;) And what a coincidence, I was listening to that beautiful album today! I love "Change of Heart", reminds me of my situation right now with my chica. And I agree with it being hard to find Cyndi sources, it was a pain in the rear to find ANYTHING about the ATTN background! I didn't even find the info about The Cars recording an early version until a night or two ago! That's why I'm SO excited Cyndi is writing a book soon!!! I can't wait to read it! It's coming out in a year and a half or so. Should be interesting. :) The easiest to do Cyndi articles will probably be " True Colors (song)", " I Drove All Night", " Girls Just Want to Have Fun", " She Bop", and " Time After Time". And even those ones that are "easy" will still be pretty tough. :( Oh well, " With a Little Help From Our Friends" we can surely find enough info on those articles. :) CarpetCrawler message me 08:53, 14 April 2009 (UTC)

Ok,
What are your thoughts on the recently created article for
Paparazzi? It sure does look better as oppossed to what LoveGame did when first created. We already have Writing inspiration and critical reception. The music video content is something that really needs to be worked on though. I guess I made a good choice in hiding the section as most sources did not comply with
WP:RS. It's also a good thing that you have brought it back up although leaving only the first two sentences with sources that meet the criteria. Hopefully we can find more useful but reliable refs for future use.
