Hi. I ajusted the text in the intro around some so I think it reads better now. As for the all the lists I would try to make them all a uniform width so that the article has a nice, tidy appearance. Also, all the list have their second column titled "Nominated work" when in fact it's often not a work but Madonna herself who is being nominated. It seems a bit odd to me to refer to her as a "work". I suggest that you change these column heading to "Nominated artist" if only she is the nominee and "Nominated work or artist" if it's either her or one of her songs/albums/whatever being nominated. "Nominated work" should therefore be used only for lists where only albums/songs/whatever are the nominees. As for the sources, I haven't check those for accuracy so I'll leave that for some one else. Other than these suggestions the article looks pretty good to me. I think the List of Australian inventions isnt as far away from FL as you claim. It appears to only be a matter of style, not substance. Even Adabow has only advised changing the lead, an adjustment in the bolding, and a cleanup of the citation style. Your reccomendation to look at 'other FLs on he same subject' isnt easy, because there are few. The one that I looked at the closest before submitting was the only one that combines science and history in the Timeline of Chemistry, which uses a bolded year on each line, similar to the Australian inventions list which has the year in regular, then the item bolded. The citations have a very similar style. Most importantly the Chemistry list doesnt use a table, giving it a similar look to the Australian inventions list, which showed me that its not compulsory to have a table style list for it to be considered an FL. The Australian inventions list doesnt have an extensive peer review, but that isnt compulsory either - its not even mentioned in the FL criteria. Your comments state that a few style issues and a peer review are the only things holding it back - so can you explain how such minor adjustments are 'not even close?' We are half way through 2011, and entering the penultimate round of this year's WikiCup; the semi-finals are upon us! Points scored in the interim (29/30 June) may be counted towards next round, but please do not update your submissions' pages until the next round has begun. 16 contestants remain, and all have shown dedication to the project to reach this far. Our round leader was Casliber ( submissions) who, among other things, successfully passed three articles through featured article candidates and claimed an impressive 29 articles at Did You Know, scoring 555 points. Casliber led pool D. Pool A was led by Wizardman ( submissions), claiming points for a featured article, a featured list and seven good article reviews, while pool C was led by Eisfbnore ( submissions), who claimed for two good articles, ten articles at Did You Know and four good article reviews. They scored 154 and 118 respectively. Pool B was by far our most competitive pool; six of the eight competitors made it through to round 4, with all of them scoring over 100 points. The pool was led by Hurricanehink ( submissions), who claimed for, among other things, three featured articles and five good articles. In addition to the four pool leaders, 12 others (the four second places, and the 8 next highest overall) make up our final 16. The lowest scorer who reached round 4 scored 76 points; a significant increase on the 41 needed to reach round 3. Eight of our semi-finalists scored at least twice as much as this.
No points were awarded this round for featured pictures, good topics or In the News, and no points have been awarded in the whole competition for featured topics, featured portals or featured sounds. Instead, the highest percentage of points has come from good articles. Featured articles, despite their high point cost, are low in number, and so, overall, share a comparable number of points with Did You Know, which are high in number but low in cost. A comparatively small but still considerable number of points come from featured lists and good article reviews, rounding out this round's overall scores.
We would again like to thank Jarry1250 ( submissions) and Stone ( submissions) for invaluable background work, as well as all of those helping to provide reviews for the articles listed on Wikipedia:WikiCup/Reviews. Please do keep using it, and please do help by providing reviews for the articles listed there. However, please remember to continue to offer reviews generally at GAC, FAC and all the other pages that require them to prevent any backlogs which could otherwise be caused by the Cup.
Two final notes: Firstly, please remember to state your participation in the WikiCup when nominating articles at FAC. Finally, some WikiCup-related statistics can be seen here and here, for those interested, though it appears that neither are completely accurate at this time. As ever, questions are welcome on Wikipedia talk:WikiCup and the judges are reachable on their talk pages, or by email. Good luck! Yer know, I really hate that no linky thing. I've read the RSN thread several times, and I still don't get it; it was basically one editor's opinion to remove the link because he didn't want to be invited to download software. Anyways, I want to get some sort of guideline passed (a la WP:MUSICNOTES) so that we can get some consistency. Do you think I should open an RFC soon? And nah, Oz added the Brazilian chart. Hey, sorry, I didn't notice your message on my talk page until now. Looking at this revision, the lead does look very long at first glance, but it's a very long article. In case you didn't know, there's some advice here. Perhaps the best judge would be whether there are too many details in the lead- a glance through suggests that it probably does not have. It's an impressive looking article. Looking at the media specifically, File:LikeAPrayerSample.ogg could do with a more detailed rationale and, ideally, should be reduced in quality to 64kbps (our line in the sand). File:Madonna Live 8 - 3.jpg could do with a double-checking from an OTRS volunteer with a better grasp of German than I have. The copy-paste rationale at File:Madonna-Like a Prayer-Music Video.jpg is not a good one- this screenshot is very clearly warranted, and you're doing it no favours by giving it a generic rationale. I'm not sure the point of File:Boycott KFC.jpg (it's being protested for a different reason) or File:Pizza Hut Guardia Vieja.jpg (neither in America nor in the iconic PH shape). The rest checks out. About a year ago I did a successful peer review on the article. Since then not much prose has changed. Recently, I've been doing tweaking to the article (mostly reference-related). I would like to nominate the article for A-class very soon but I'm not 100 percent sold on it's prose, if Puerto Rican people should be linked and if the image in the music video section is really needed (but I am confident the references check-out). I'd love to have your input on This Is It as you've made a FA song article from scratch. Be brutal with it =) Crystal Clear x3 05:43, 3 July 2011 (UTC)

It has occurred to me that it is not wholly accurate to lump The Fame Monster with The Cherrytree Sessions and Hitmixes, as the latter two had limited releases. Perhaps those two records could be reclassified as a live album (even if it is only 3 tracks) and a remix album, because it seems disingenous to say she had 3 EPs.— Ryūlóng ( 竜龙) 00:23, 5 July 2011 (UTC)

I'm sorry for being disruptive, but you can tell just by listening to the song that the song is in E-FLAT minor, not just simply E minor. I use Musicnotes.com a lot, too, and sometimes they transpose the song just to make it easier to play on the piano. It doesn't necessarily mean that's the key the song is truly written in. Again, my apologies. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Cloverboy19 ( talk • contribs) 02:08, 6 July 2011 (UTC)

Dear Legolas2186,
I've seen a lot of the Madonna/Lady Gaga-related articles that you have edited, and I honestly think that you are the best editor in those fields, considering the amount of work you have put into them. One thing that has come to my mind is that numerous of Madonna's biggest hit singles, such as "Express Yourself", "Vogue", "Ray of Light", "Frozen" and "Take a Bow", are rather small and lacking in useful information. I will try to work on these (having already edited some), yet, seeing your obvious knowledge and experience in these areas, I just wanted to raise the issue. On the other hand, Lady Gaga's singles, I have to say, are all very well-written and full of useful information.
Yours, -- Theologiae ( talk) 20:24, 7 July 2011 (UTC)
Hi my friend. I hope you are even better now. My two cents (i guess that how you write it): Simple video for a simple song. No need to make it seem more complex than it really is, an over the top storyline would have overpowered the song.Beyonce is just insanely gorgeous without trying.
Legolas, this is not the best video she has done but sometimes simplicity makes something beautiful. I was secretly hoping for a video ala "We Belong Together" 2.0. Wait, i will tell you exactly what i did . Jivesh • Talk2Me 05:56, 8 July 2011 (UTC)

I'll ask him about it. Adabow ( talk · contribs) 09:38, 4 July 2011 (UTC)
I reviewed this article at DYK, there are a few comments that could use your attention when you have time. Thanks! Canada Hky ( talk) 19:53, 4 July 2011 (UTC)
Sorry for editing Since U Been Gone i Just thought it was 2xPlatinum since i saw that it sold more than 2 million copies in the US and platinum is 1 million so thats why i thought it was :P and im a new user so i dont know that much of wikipedia i just know how to use and search for stuff :P
Welcome :). I will probably do it tomorrow. Calvin • 999 14:20, 5 July 2011 (UTC)
Hey, I've responded to the comments you made and made some corrections you suggested along with some more by the other assessor. Could you please have another look? Hassan514 ( talk) 06:11, 1 July 2011 (UTC)
Heya, sorry to bug you again. Been constantly working on the the discography. Could you please give me some feedback? Thanks! Hassan514 ( talk) 13:48, 6 July 2011 (UTC)
Figures. If he isn't digging for gold then he's sitting on his ass thinking of ways to. I've never seen such a shameless leech before. Anyways, I just did some googling but couldn't find any articles specifying him as the finder. Crystal Clear x3 07:23, 6 July 2011 (UTC)
I've nominated this for peer review. Your suggestions are most welcome. -- Commander (Ping Me) 05:40, 4 July 2011 (UTC)
Hi Legolas, i hope you are fine and that physio (or however it is called) is going well. I wanted to ask you if i can review articles? I am not interested in doing so (especially not for the time being as i am having exams)? I mean is there any procedure before becoming a reviewer? Jivesh • Talk2Me 12:57, 5 July 2011 (UTC)
Sorry! I uploaded a sample, but it's 65 kbps! Shall I upload another one? That one is <60 kbps... Novice7 ( talk) 15:11, 5 July 2011 (UTC)
Hey great work on the Like a Prayer article! Will you do that to all the Madonna singles/albums articles?? Also once you're done you think you can expand the I'm Breathless article??-- MindyHall ( talk) 02:44, 6 July 2011 (UTC)
Hey Lego, Google Books does not have some BB issues (don't know why). I am working on a Grammy list and BB seems to publish the Final nominations every year. As certain issues are missing from GBooks archive, I can't verify the volume, date etc... Does Musicweek publish the nominees, lol? Novice7 ( talk) 04:39, 6 July 2011 (UTC)

If you go to the Wiki page it has the Certification for the song and the ones I added. They weren't fake. Also Edge of Glory has sold 1000000 singles in the US so that is Platinum! — Preceding unsigned comment added by TheZeitergeist ( talk • contribs) 05:06, 7 July 2011 (UTC)
