Cricket notability on Wikipedia

Don't be too disheartened about the Emsworth Cricket Club article. WikiProject Cricket has certain criteria, which are listed on the Notability criteria guideline for article inclusion page. Typically a cricketer has to have played first-class, List A or Twenty20 cricket. There are no limits to how many matches need to be played, provided a player has played one of these at a recognised level then they qualify as notable. Likewise with cricket grounds, which need to have held one of the above formats or be notable for other reasons, such as Barrack Field which is historically notable. Any questions, feel free to visit the Cricket talk page. Hope this helps!!! AssociateAffiliate ( talk) 16:13, 30 January 2011 (UTC) reply
