Hi I've expanded it. If you come across an article that is a crappy stub in future, please ask the editor to try to expand it first. If they don't respond, then proceed to AFD. Its just it saves a lot of time, we know there are many poor stubs on here, but a lot of them could be filled out and notability asserted if the person who started it is given a chance to expand. Not to worry. Actually I can see how the name itself might have influenced you, if I'd come across a one liner on something called Child Museum I'd probably think the same. I started a list of museums from a missing list of Greece and Egypt which were considered of national significance but I'm afraid I got so caught up in starting them and trying to get them onto here that I forgot to expand them all. I usually create stubs at least with some assertion of notability or some content but it more thr desire to get them blue linked that I compromised quality. I had anticiapted that the musems wikiproject were working on them but I guess we're all busy. I'll make a note to try to fill some of them out, although sometimes I really take on more than I can handle by myself! Best

Cairo Children's Museum Article Name
Hello, La_Pianista, and Dr. Blofeld, {if you come here); you participated in
the AfD for
Child Museum (which has now been moved to
Child Museum of Cairo). While I appreciate the value of making
Child Museum into a disambiguation page, I'm concerned that by naming this article
Child Museum of Cairo we've created a
neologism. At the moment I write this, no sources give the title of the museum as "Child Museum of Cairo": doubtless wikipedia mirrors will pick up that name and distribute it. Most sources cite the museum's name as simply, "The Child Museum"; a few cite it as the "Cairo Children's Museum". I would recommend moving the article to either
Child Museum (Cairo) or
Cairo Children's Museum; feedback is appreciated. See the entry on
the article talk page. Thanks,

There has been a lot of vandalism on 20th, from the same user. In the past the article has been vandalised from time to time, but not a lot and not on a daily basis. Nothing that the vandal fighters can't deal with. The page won't be protected for one day's random increase in vandalism, particularly as there are several IPs that have made constructive contributions.

Chamal's right, semi-protection should only be used when there's lots of IP/un-autoconfirmed vandalism, so much that anti-vandal people are missing some vandal edits. Which happened with

Messaging... :) If you ever need anything, feel free to drop a line. A friend of Chubb is a friend of mine. (Zounds, that rhymes...) —LaPianista(

Hm. You can't win it all, as they say. You might have a great school and sucky people to live with, or a sucky school and great people to live with. Eh...ping. —LaPianista(

And ping. I might have to go back to studying in a few minutes, though. But respond nonetheless if you want to - I'll rez ya later. —LaPianista(

22, as a matter of fact. It's huge news here, as you can easily imagine: I mean...I ACTUALLY HAVE A HALF-INCH OF SNOW-LIKE SLEET IN MY BACKYARD! :D :D :D —LaPianista(

I was mocking my own people, good sir. I mean, I turn on the news, and there's this anchor, practically hyperventilating, running his hands over the ground saying, "Look, just look at this. Ice over the roads, sleet on the ground, you can practically feel this white dust!" and sifting it through his hands like it's powdered gold. >.> Of course, my cat's freaked out and won't go outside, and she's starting to explore some potted plants, which worries me a bit. —LaPianista(

One foot! You Northerners scare me... >.> Here, we're anticipating +100-degree summers with at least a month with no rain. Dryness, perfect for the 4th of July so all the fields and patches of green will get burned to smithereens. Southern living has its downside, I suppose. —LaPianista(

Ay, worse than disappear. There's nothing like the smell of cat post-digestion to wake you up in the morning...
I've heard that, thank you very much. But feet are lowly, are they not? Since they are most often in contact with the ground? Okay, so the joke bombed on itself...
Good evening, La Pianista :)
iMatthew and I would like to write a report on the
MOTD project for the
Wikipedia Signpost. I would greatly appreciate if you could help me in this via an interview for the report. As you a major contributor to the project you seem an ideal person to ask about this. Would you be interested at all? If so, please write back to me (or go ahead and answer the questions at
User:Garden/int). Thanks in advance, GARDEN22:35, 28 January 2009 (UTC)reply
Aw, thanks, Spittle. :) Not really, though - but you could perhaps see about going through
Commons and finding some good classical music sound and image files to add at
P:CLM. But I know that'd be boring, so it's really up to you. :) —LaPianista(

? That clip is probably too short...to say the least. I meant for you to find longer clips that sounded good to you. Seeing as you're really unfamiliar with the field, I thought I'd see what could be called "interesting" to someone not crazy about classical as I am. You don't have to keep looking if you don't want to, Spittle. —LaPianista(

If you genuinely like it. :) Any classical piece would work, Spittle. Seeing as I'm really the only person taking care of that portal right now (and there are no set rules), it's really only up to me. I'll add it for April. Thanks, Spittle! —LaPianista(

At the very bottom of a post (let's try the first one), click the link that says "20 comments". Scroll to the bottom of the comments page and add your comment. You can create an account there (which I recommend) or you can post anonymously. —LaPianista(

What did you think of the interview? I thought it was fun, but then I looked at Nutiketaiel's HUGE answers and I felt ashamed, because mine were so small.... SimonKSK21:44, 1 February 2009 (UTC)reply
Thanks, guys, now I'm blushing again. Though, I've got to say, I would have written things alot differently if I had known he was just going to copy and paste the interviews into the
"article". I had assumed that he was going to do the interviews and then actually write an article from the information he had obtained. You know, like a reporter. I put alot of crap and asides and ramblings in there that I would not have done if I had known what he was planning. :-(

(e/c) Yes, that was a little disappointing. I thought it was going to be written like a professional report, like out of NYT or something. —LaPianista(

Ha, you really are the outspoken one, aren't you, Nutiket? Admirable traits in a man, I tell you. Now you really will never wash this screen, will you? :P
But, like Garden said, he'll remind interviewees of the raw format next time. And your/our blunders in speech will be forgotten soon (I hope). —LaPianista(

Actually, I have printed out a screenshot and am going to have it framed. :-) In seriousness, I have accepted his apology. I'm not really angry with him, or anything, and I wouldn't have changed a whole lot, just a few things that really would not have fit in a finished article. I am sure that they will be forgotten soon, but it doesn't change the fact that I look and feel like a schmuck for the time being.

For the time being. That'll only be there a week, you know, and there are plenty of schmucks out there to kick you out of the unseemly spotlight when they come. ;) —LaPianista(

I know, I know. It still doesn't make me feel better, though. I don't do a whole lot on Wikipedia, and I do even less of it well, but I don't like looking like a fool about one of the few things I do do well.
