About the article Philip Emeagwali

I see that you are a newcomer to Wikipedia. Welcome!

I look at your edits on the article Philip Emeagwali, and it is not that the information is not true (rather, I would compliment you on doing a great job finding those sources), but rather that your wording about this individual is very negative. "Wikipedia aims to describe disputes, but not engage in them", and there is a whole policy section that you can read to know more. Please go see Wikipedia:YESPOV, it may help you knowing how to write in a neutral tone. 🔥YesI'mOnFire🔥( ContainThisEmber?) 14:20, 21 June 2024 (UTC) reply

If you wonder which one I was talking about, it is in the section "Prefer nonjudgmental language" 🔥YesI'mOnFire🔥( ContainThisEmber?) 14:21, 21 June 2024 (UTC) reply
Okay I will change the wordings. I think the language is somehow assertive, declarative and conclusive. Yes, I agreed that the tone should be changed into a more neutral one. This can be done by citing the person's claim first and citing counterclaims, and the final judgement be left to the final reader. Kryst4lyf ( talk) 14:26, 21 June 2024 (UTC) reply
I will move this section to the articles talkpage Philip Emeagwali Kryst4lyf ( talk) 14:43, 21 June 2024 (UTC) reply
Don't. It should stay here. It is just a simple fix of wording, no need to do that. 🔥YesI'mOnFire🔥( ContainThisEmber?) 14:52, 21 June 2024 (UTC) reply
