And I'm personally happy to see a new skeptic arrive. Something tells me Wikipedia will need them in spades as POV warriors discover a more widely publicized Wikipedia. - Roy Boy 800 19:45, 6 May 2005 (UTC)
Hello. I am not sure how to respond or if this is the right way of doing it. I am adjusting these articles to right the wrongs. I am from CT, my family is from NYC and Boston and New England has no presence in CT, at least on the New York side.
No offense, but it is people like you who assume too much about certain areas of the country. To be New England seems to mean that you see Boston as your hub. Boston is no hub of ours. They tried to come to New Haven with that Red Sox trophy thinking that CT was a part of their so-called "Red Sox Nation,' but I am sure that they see it differently now as Yankees fans came out to tell Boston to take it back to New England and don't come around here anymore!
Yes, CT is known as New England in some circles. This could be because the capital is close to the MA border and gets a lot of press. Even then, they speak of southwestern CT. Trenton, NJ is in the south, but you hardly hear of NJ being in the Philly area because of it do you? On the east coast, you can cross different states in minutes! The geopraphy is ragged. What's in Boston's interest is not in our interest. Come to CT and take a poll. Even many of those people in CT near RI and MA do not feel like New Englanders. Besides, New England is a slick name for Boston in improve there standing amongst citites in America and they NEED CT, we don't need or want them. (this was posted by N0gar)
