A discussion is taking place as to whether the article Rainwater Creek Massacre is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia according to Wikipedia's policies and guidelines or whether it should be deleted.
The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Rainwater Creek Massacre until a consensus is reached, and anyone is welcome to contribute to the discussion. The nomination will explain the policies and guidelines which are of concern. The discussion focuses on high-quality evidence and our policies and guidelines.

I have not heard of this before. I am a descendant of Miles (Zebulon Miles Rainwater), who was killed in Georgia in 1857. Benjamin fled to TX; the governor of Georgia put a warrant out for his arrest. Brother Joseph eventually moved to TX, as did sisters Sarah Rainwater Moseley and Martha Rainwater Seegar. I don't know if Miles was a minister, but their father, James Rainwater, was. He is buried at Ramah Baptist in Fulton Co., GA.
