Monroe Engineering Products is a private industrial manufacturing and distribution company [1]. They manufacture and distribute industrial components including adjustable handles, hinges, knobs, handwheels and more. The company is based in Auburn Hills, Michigan [2] and was founded in the 1950's. One of the founders was Otto Siewek. Otto was pivotal in developing tooling components that helped standardize mass production of the automobile in the Detroit area. [3].

In 2011, Quantum Ventures of Michigan sold Monroe Engineering Products to Ellipse Capital [4].

Monroe Engineering Products acquired R.J. Vedovell in May, 2013 [5] and acquired Northwest Fasteners Sales in November, 2014. [6]

The company has distribution centers in Zeeland, Michigan; Clearwater, Florida and in Tualatin, Oregon.

Monroe Engineering Products speaks at national events including Ariba Live conference in Las Vegas. [7] and is a member of Automation Alley [8]. In 2013, Monroe Engineering Products received Automation Alley Award to train workers. [9]
