Kevin Mitnick has an article because he meets Wikipedia's standards of notability and verifiability. See WP:BIO and WP:Verifiability. Unless you can show that you are notable per those guidelines, you should only post about yourself on your userpage. Thanks, NawlinWiki 19:40, 4 October 2006 (UTC)
You might want to re-edit this...you cannot have a statement claiming "property of" and also have released it to public domain. They are direct opposites of each other. If you release it to public domain, it is no longer your property, but property of the public, and they may do what the wish with it. Akradecki 19:46, 4 October 2006 (UTC)
It would seem your username might not be acceptable, please see Wikipedia:Username -- ArmadilloFromHell 19:48, 4 October 2006 (UTC)
Nothing in there about having markup such as â„¢
Trademarked names: Trademarked names, especially sports teams like the Miami Heat, the Carolina Hurricanes, and the New York Yankees (whether it's whole or just the team) should not be used in a username.
Last time I checked, there was no REAL THING trademarked named Kelly.
Find it, ill change my name.
-Thinks for a moment-
Nope, no trademark.
One would need no proof.
One could also prove that "Armadillo from Hell" is a name property of SciFi for its movie rights.
-shrugs-
Pretty soon we won't have to worry about your user name. This is the second time you have removed content from this page
You constantly remove user warning templates from your user or user talk page. We assume you're ignoring us; worse, that you just don't care. We have many ways to resolve disputes; this is not one of them. If you don't want to be a part of our community, perhaps you should not be here. -- ArmadilloFromHell 21:38, 4 October 2006 (UTC)
Kelly, regardless of the intellectual property argument, Wikipedia policy currently prohibits using usernames that have non-latin characters in them. The TM symbol is not an acceptable character to be using in the account name, nor is the copyright symbol or any related symbols which aren't letters or numbers or basic punctuation.
Accounts with special characters like the TM and copyright symbol have typically been blocked, until they are changed. You happened to not encounter an admin who blocks first and explains later so far, but you need to change it as soon as possible.
It would comply with this policy if you shift your accountname to "Kelly TM" or something like that, just using normal letters. To change your username, the process is to go to the page Wikipedia:Changing username and make a change request. The Wikipedia administrative burecrat-level permissions staff can then change it for you.
