As our resident expert on Nazi-applogetic sources, I was hoping to get your opinion. I am working on a British division article, and the British sources suggest there was a German on German engagement at the end of the war. I have read online that a chap by the name of Alfred Hoffmann debunked this. I wasnt able to find much of anything on him, but the publisher does appear to be that pro-SS organization. I was wondering if you could provide your take, on if this would be reliable or not (I'd rather air on the side of caution and not peddle apologetic myths ... or hunt a copy down)?
