WLOA Status

As soon as EMF completed the purchases of WLOA, WGRP and WEXC from Beacon, WLOA and WGRP were immediately put on the market to either be sold or leased to a third party. They only wanted WEXC (which was retitled WLVX the second the Beacon sale cleared). So the "sale pending" would make sense in that regard.

No problem about the whole collective history about WWIZ Lorain. In fact, I wondered about the fate of Mr. Schafitz after WWIZ was shut down and deleted in 1967. The successor station WLRO (now known as WDLW) was not connected to WWIZ, but recent years have recognized and acknowledged WWIZ's existence. -- Nathan Obral ( talk) 23:07, 31 January 2011 (UTC) reply
