Hi. I notice that a high percentage of your edits and
other actions involve moving Luas stop articles from "XXXX Luas stop" to "XXXX tram stop". In almost every case without any explanation. Given that
WP:COMMONNAME is what typically determines the title of an article (and
more
than
a
few
references
refer to these types of subjects as, for example, "Broombridge and Dominic Luas Stops, and [..] Sandyford/Brides Glen Luas Stops
"), can you explain the rationale for these changes? I ask, in particular, as many of your changes have required
additional
DAB suffixes and the like. Given that you have
not explained a high-percentage of your edits/changes at the time, can you consider advising which of the
typical reasons for moving an article/title apply in these cases? Ideally, perhaps, before moving more articles. As such undiscussed/unexplained moves could
reasonably be undone by another editor. If needed, perhaps open a thread at
Talk:Luas. Or
Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Ireland. Or another place where other connected/interested editors can contribute. Thanks.

Thank you for
your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you copied or moved text from
Carrickmines Castle into
Carrickmines. While you are welcome to re-use Wikipedia's content, here or elsewhere,
Wikipedia's licensing does require that you provide attribution to the original contributor(s). When copying within Wikipedia, this is supplied at minimum in an
edit summary at the page into which you've copied content, disclosing the copying and
linking to the copied page, e.g.,
copied content from [[page name]]; see that page's history for attribution
. It is good practice, especially if copying is extensive, to also place a properly formatted {{
copied}} template on the talk pages of the source and destination. Please provide attribution for this duplication if it has not already been supplied by another editor, and if you have copied material between pages before, even if it was a long time ago, you should provide attribution for that also. 02:10, 11 February 2024 (UTC)Hi. The MetroLink route template is speculative. It is just about justifiable in the "proposed/possible routes" section(s) of the MetroLink article. Where it is clear, not least from context, that it describes a speculative route. It is misplaced (and potentially misleading and perhaps even misrepresentative) in, for example, the St Stephen's Green station article. Where it is less clear that no such service/route exists (and may not exist - or not as planned). Consider, for example, that (in 2010) the same article happily declared that St Stephen's Green would have a "Dublin Metro" station by 2013. And a DART Underground station by 2015. Both speculative claims (made without much qualification and which significant hubris) have not occurred. Please let's learn the lessons of past errors. And from the WP:SPECULATION guideline. Thanks.
