Hello
I am the creator of the above page and would just like to know if there is a valid reason for deleting the article.
All the article is about is a Sunday League football club that is hoping to get into the Big Time for next season We have a lot of fans who come to visit us every sunday and when the news went out that we had a wikipedia page the responce was excellent, but when tbey went to check there was nothing there as the page had been deleted. So i recreated it and then i copme on today and its gone again.
All the links that i had placed on the page were 100% Official and they are under construction at the moment so that maybe the reason why they seem unfinished. But we are gradually getting them working. Iam the only person who has access to the internet out of the whole team and it is my duty to finish the mian website. but as we have training every other day and i am currently studying at college I have little time to edie the main site.
But i assure you that once we have everything up and running (which should be next week) you will be happy to have Ainslee Wood Football Club on wikipedia.
Thank You For Your Time

If you look at this revision, you'll see that the CFD edit you made with AWB rather messed up the layout of my userpage. Now, this is no big deal; I know how easy it is for mistakes to happen, and it was pretty easy to fix. But, if possible, maybe you could preview the results before making these edits? Thanks, htonl 19:55, 10 May 2007 (UTC)
Well, I'm confused. I've been on Wikipedia for about a year, and sometimes when I see discussion pages about esoteric subjects they seem a little Byzantine. In this case, you deleted my "Wikipedians who use GNU/Linux" category, and I was unclear after reading the CFD what exactly had been decided. A simple count showed a lot of opposition. I can guess I'm not reading it right, but I'd like to know my replacement tag options, since I'm pretty devoted to both. Now you see why I stick to editing encyclopedia pages ;-) -- Bruce H. McCosar 21:30, 10 May 2007 (UTC)
Maybe I can't count, but could you please check these two pages [1] [2] and tell me how many dozen times it was vandalized, contrary to discussion on the talk page? Thanks.-- Gerash 77 22:00, 10 May 2007 (UTC)
Is there any other way to indicate an immediate repost of speedydeleted content? That's what I was trying to indicate with that template. I had the first template there as the "true" reason for deletion, andwas using the second as sort of a flag. Is there another flagging template? --Dynaflow babble 22:41, 10 May 2007 (UTC)
Hello!
I noticed that you deleted my Wiki entry on Jaded (comic) due to the text being lifted from its description on thewebcomiclist.com. Just to inform you that the reason for this is that I am the author of its profile on thewebcomiclist, and so thought it would be unnecessary to re-write my summary on wikipedia. I can assure you that no plagiarism has taken place, and I will be attempting now to re-edit the page. If there is further issue with me using the same description on two websites, please let me know.
Many thanks,

I may note that I have made an semi-protect request on the article, Brock Lesnar. May I add that according to previous arguments this article has been violating WP:PROT and should no longer be fully protected, with two months without any edit war, vandalism, or wikipedia policy violations. Now with that being said, may you semi-protect the article? User:Mantel21

What do you mean by "create the category"? I guess my question is, why does this existing category appear as a red link? Hoof Hearted 21:04, 15 May 2007 (UTC)
I came across this while browsing and noticed you deleted it as replaceable fair use. The image itslef as far as I can discern was of a 1991 field goal attempt that missed in which no free alternatives can be made. Hi John. Student voice has been deleted before, and the article was rewritten by another editor. However, I recall the original version of the article being better than the current one. John, I'm curious as to why you deemed my oppose vote on Bjelleklang's Rfa as nonsense. I'm not attempting to pick a fight or any issue like that. I would like to ask why you removed the template for speedy deletion on the User:UBX/User photoshop-1, User:UBX/User photoshop-2, User:UBX/User photoshop-3, User:UBX/User photoshop-4 and User:UBX/User photoshop-5. I had discussed with it's author why and he said it was okay, and the actual userbox is the same but put in one UBX rather than 5. I realise that I had to notify it's users, but why did you take it away ? Can you reply on my talk page. Rugby471 16:30, 17 May 2007 (UTC)
Hello, I hope I am sending this message to the right person - you seem to be the latest name on the "history" of the above article. I received a message asking me to amend the article (see the "discussion" page for the article) which I did. I don't know if anyone checked the amendments but the article has now disappeared - at least it is now called a "stub" with only one reference to a very out of date website. I am completely puzzled. Also, perhaps you could answer my query about showing a wool colour chart (again see the "discussion" page). Hoping I'm not bothering the wrong person, Best regards, Rarebreeds 17:30, 17 May 2007 (UTC)

Sure, it can be shortened, but there is no reason to. If you really want it shorter, you should shorten it, not put a template on it. -- John Reaves (talk) 19:19, 17 May 2007 (UTC)
Hello again and thank you for your reply. I just wondered whether anyone actually checked the amended article - if no-one lets me know what they want changed it's difficult to comply. I left a list of the sources for the article on the "Shetland (sheep) discussion" page - was this the right place to put this or would you like it copied here? Best regards Rarebreeds 19:09, 17 May 2007 (UTC)
Thank you for your message. I have resubmitted the amended article. Please could you look at it for me and advise me of any changes you require. The sources for the article are as follows: British Sheep (The National Sheep Association 1992) The Wool Book (Margaret Dixon 1979) British Sheep and Wool (Wool Marketing Board 1990) The Rare Breeds Handbook (Derek Wallis 1986) Sheep and Man (M.L.Ryder 1983). If you require these listed with the article, please let me know. Best regards, Rarebreeds 19:35, 17 May 2007 (UTC)

Hi, and thanks for deleting some of the redirects to Kven people. But I think User:Gavia immer made a small mistake that I unfortunately did not notice until the redirects were deleted. He/she suggested to: "Keep the "Kveen" redirects (1, 2, and 5)", but in the list redirect #1 was Quen (and #3 was Kveen). So the numbers should probably have been 2, 3 and 5. It was valid, noteworthy and the software is listed in many publications. I really don't understand. I came back to add data and it is gone. As well as the company reference Dynamic Software.
Could you please explain?

-i sent you an email, but it's from my gmail account because Mailinator is a disposable email and one cannot send things from it. i don't want to put the address here (that was the whole point of using a disposable email), but it's pretty similar to the username we're trying to get to work. hopefully you'll be able to recognize it. thanks again.

How do you become an admin.
Hi, as being on the "recieving end" on one of your open-proxy IP blocks (plus autoblock probably) I feel I should tell you that quite a lot of the open proxies you blocked are, in fact, dynamic IP adresses. You can hardly imagine my suprise - and then quickly growing annoyance - to discover that the IP adress I had been freshly assigned after reconnecting to the internet was flagged as a "open proxy". Since I'm part of a large amount of users who use the dynamic IP pool from the German Telekom it was obvious to me that this was an dynamic IP adress, and cannot really be a open proxy, as the German telekom forcibily disconnects its users after ~24h of being online, reassigning a new IP adress upon reconnect. I saw several other IP adresses from German ISP who are also know to hand out random dynamic IPs upon connection, thus I suspect that there are plenty more false postive lurking for the unsuspecting user to trigger them. I'd like to know why my page was deleted since I did not promote anything in any way. Nor did I violate any rule. I was writing on who the election of grace are, as it's pertained to in the bible. It's a group of people who aren't much spoken about or known even. I only used things that were written in the bible and would have given reference if I were able to finish it before it was deleted. I thought it was a hacker until I just found out it wasn't. What really makes you think you can edit me on something I know that you don't know very much about? That's like me deleting a post where someone talks about the complications of russian currency amongst the world market with the strength of the euro. I don't have any idea about russian currency, and I know you don't know anything about the election of grace. So tell me, what rule did I break?

As we don't want wheel-warring on policy pages, I've raised this issue at AIV. Could you remove the protection tag from the top of the policy page? Tim Vickers 22:55, 9 July 2007 (UTC)
I object to your unprotection of WP:V. There is no consensus for these changes, and the page was protected precisely to allow things to cool down, as a small number of editors have been stirring things up recently, and policies pages must be stable. It's important to discuss issues like this with the protecting admin, when you see that someone has protected for two weeks, and yet one side is requesting unprotection after a couple of days.
