not whether people were paid to create the book. We don't care whether the book was an unpaid volunteer effort or a professionally written, edited, and published product. We are not saying that anyone from the book's production team contributed to the article, and we are not concerned with whether or not the producers of the book received any remuneration. We're saying that it appears that someone was paid to write the article without disclosing that fact, a serious violation. The editor in question user:375mon was later blocked indefinitely by user:Huon, who stated that there was ironclad off-wiki evidence that this user was an undisclosed paid editor.
