Wikipedia is not the place for advocacy

Hello there, While there may be an issue with this particular subject, I sincerely believe Wikipedia is not the place for you article. I have a hard time believing you will be able to achieve your goals while maintaining a neutral point of view (WP:NPOV), especially if you have an emotional connection with the subject. Wikipedia is not a place to help others or to guide them trough processes and applications but to inform them with encyclopedic knowledge, and this requires substantial references as well as a neutral attitude.

I would suggest that you split your article and treat each logical part (pressure groups, laws, processes, etc) in a separate article with accurate and factual references supporting the content. If you want to do any sort of advocacy, create a blog or a website that links to wikipedia articles relevant to your subject. In the process, you will provide your readership with quality information and will also benefit the other users of wikipedia.

For the time being, I fear that your article will be nominated for deletion (WP:DEL) or affixed with banners like

if the situation is not corrected soon, which will greatly undermine its credibility. Good luck! Tinss ( talk) 21:42, 20 September 2010 (UTC) reply

Hello
I am putting in accurate and factual references with citations. If this page is deleted then it will result in similar steps being taken against those who start doing this sort of activity. There are many people interested in bringing this not only forward as factual but we are a bit tired of persons who go on trying to suppress this factual information. I am not tied with any group or groups however I do think its time this issue is allowed to be expressed fairly and frankly.
It is important that not only these three groups of persons whose nationality have been denied and indeed suppressed have a means of being able to refer to information, news, and publications that will greatly aid them in their obtaining their birth rights to nationality. They have been ignored by others simply because of their mixed ethnicity and we are determined to not have this source of information collected together for their benefit deleted. I would there fore request that if anyone wants to make a positive contribution to help develop the page instead of trying to delete or suppress the information.

I took the liberty of moving your text to this thread of discussion. First and foremost, I have no connection with this issue and I am not even British (my talk page proves it). If the page ever gets deleted, it will be done trough a process which involves discussion (like we are doing right now), mediation and if all fails, it will be deleted by an administrator. Maybe you can craft a good article about this subject, but for now it does not look like you are on the right track. If you are new to wikipedia, please consider taking a bit of time to know how the system works, you can start off from the links I provided you or from Wikipedia:Tutorial_(Keep_in_mind). In the meantime, I would suggest you create an account and work on this article from your user page ( Wikipedia:UP#SUB) so as to make it available only to you an people of your chosing, thereby preventing the greater public from seeing work in progress. Once you are done, you can get someone from the community who has no connection with the subject to review the draft article. Just trying to help and while I was writing my response someone even came in and nominated this page for deletion. You should really move this draft article to your talk page.
